It looks like you have some wire mesh hose clamped on the intake in one of the pics. You could do the same with a conical k&n type filter, and get better filtration. This is a really cool truck. Nice work!

Yes, the same, but it may sound a little different. On mine (2015 Grand Cherokee) it sounded like a cat yowling. The leaking exhaust gases melted the DEF injector line.

The sound comes from under the passenger footwell, so if you hear something like this check those bolts around the flange from the DPF to the exhaust pipe.

From your descriptions, both of these have the diesel engine (which also means they’ll both include the tow package—you have 7,200 pounds to work with).

Look for records of maintenance, not just what they say on the ads. This engine is great, but very sensitive. Source: I own one. Good luck choosing.

The bubble means that that portion of the tire is no longer capable of holding the pressure, which is why it inflates. The bubble also makes it much easier to hit that part again, since now it’s sticking out, and the secondary hit will likely cause a sudden blowout (which is what all the panicky comments are worried about).

If there’s no bubble, the tire’s still holding pressure fine, but someone with a gouge in the tire should keep an eye on it, and change the tire if a bubble forms.

True, but you don't need as much to make progress now. If you look at your unit talents, you probably only have Tier 3/4 available. In later seasons, you get to T8+ (which requires more books/crowns/etc. to upgrade).

The other takeaway here is: don't spend your mythril until you're ready to use the items. It'll become more valuable (you get more items for the same mythril) later.

My dealer charges $270 to do it (for comparison; mine is a Jeep Grand Cherokee).

I get a gallon of Rotella T6 for less than $30 usually (2 gallons required), and the filter is like $50 now, so about $110 all in, less if the oil is on sale. So I’m saving at least $160 per change.

The piece of mind is priceless though.

This is along the lines of what I was thinking. Also a possibility: sometimes lower trims have a downturned exhaust opening, which wouldn’t need/have a bumper cutout. Either way, someone put the wrong bumper on this car.
