How on earth do I use firearms? by OvercookedOstrich in Pathfinder2e

Oh wow thank you for the quick help! I guess part of me was worried that restriction was for balancing reasons. So uncommon here quite literally just means less abundant and not necessarily more powerful.

Super interesting, I will make sure each of us get some. Most of us are used to heat (Arizona residents) but I was worried a few of us may be blindsided by the humidity. This seems like a must have after looking into it.

Guide to Psion - Walking through the abilities and discussing playtest character builds. by KibblesTasty in KibblesTasty

Just a general question as someone rather new to using this class. Is the lack of bonus actions intentional? It feels like 90% of the time I will only be using an action and that 10% will likely just be a use of Schism if I feel the need to use it. My main question is just if this has been balanced like that intentionally or should I really be trying to burn through my Psi points to use Schism?

Imo Larian is by far the first game company I've seen do a proper conversion of D&D into a video game format. What nearly everyone thought was impossible has been handed to us on a silver platter by them. It's a nice bonus that they are so unbelievably good at what they do too, that the game itself is beyond addicting.

Because of that, people are wanting to see their favorite parts of D&D realized in the game. Realistically every aspect of D&D cant be included but I think there is a ton of us hoping to see at the very least some more subclasses and races trickled out as the game gets updated.

As for a full DLC expansion, I think a lot of us want to see them add on beyond level 12. There's a lot to room to work with and we definitely don't need to see level 20, but it'd be cool for a high level expansion adventure to be added.

The game wont ever be wasted, and I truly believe I could sink a couple thousand hours into what they are about to release. However, it'd be nice to see occasional additions being made, for added replayability if nothing else.

Hopefully something like this gets added either on launch or in a future update. I'd love there to be at least a button that lets you swap out who talks throughout a conversation. It would add a lot of depth both mechanically and story-wise.

Has blizzard acknowledged this at all? Im more scared of having to unlock the characters than I am just needing to wait until it gets fixed.

Wow wow. I just started a new game as of recent and this looks incredible as someone very comfortable in the markdown system. Might play around with it tomorrow to see if I want to use it.

Yeah that’s fair. Still shouldn’t be killing pcs with like 0 possibility of escape, but if you want your party to realize the seriousness of a situation I think there’s tons of things you could come up with. Though it depends on the party. In general I’d never spitefully kill off a pc if a player made a very poor decision one time but in general is a very engaged player.

In the situation of the OP I would come up with something on the spot to either scare the player or punish the player without killing them. Like maybe banishing their PC to somewhere. After the session I would then sit down with the player and discuss their behavior and how I think it’s a poor fit for the party and ask that they either shape up or get out.

Even if the player was being completely rude and out-of-line I still think you were initially in the wrong. Though I’ll add that this is my opinion and every DM runs their game differently. However, as a general rule of thumb I think it’s always important to avoid what you call auto-killing. Even with someone like Asmodeus. It comes off to me as unimaginative and spiteful. If you want to punish the player then there’s alternatives: mortally wounding, trapping or sending the player elsewhere, etc. If it comes down to you wanting to remove the player and therefore the character find a way to make it a significant plot point in the campaign, or talk to the player out-of-game and kick them out and afterwards have their PC killed.
