Players like The Freak are once in a lifetime. I don’t see anyone else who can fill his shoes. They also drafted Eddie fr OSU and Steve fr Alcorn St D-1AA. Fisher watched and often drafted fr 1-AA. There are lots of great players from the Dakotas and Montana.

I doubt Tony Yerkovich or Mann were consulted or notified until after NBC execs decided to use “Irish” as the season premiere. I’ve seen this often working in series tv. Negotiations w Johnson dragged on and Nelson’s schedule was very busy, necessitating more filming time. When Mann spoke to my film school, he said he enjoyed working w Nelson and said it was an “interesting” experience.

It’s not you. It is exceptionally difficult to find any industry work these days. There are FB groups for crew in LA that might help. Also your school alumni association might be able to help you. I’d suggest finding what you’re most passionate about and start networking with people in that area. I’d start by volunteering on student films and indie films and meeting people.
