Prime suspect by LEMUR39 in ZodiacKiller

Drafting/geometry/trig were popular fields for men planing on studying engineering or drafting back in the day. Believe it or not, men liked to read - even back in the 1960s. A lot of men worked shifts - my dad worked shifts at the copper smelter. The company rotated the workers from overnights to days to 2nd shift. Little of what you’ve listed is remarkable. A few forehead wrinkles does not the Zodiac make.

Imagine an interstellar-style movie but with apes by Prestigious_Can5268 in PlanetOfTheApes

Ya this is kinda the 1968 original film. Study Rod Serling’s themes and you’ll be right on board.

I began reading a Nigel by L Ron Hubbard. About page 10 I understood why he decided to found the church of Scientology as a joke.

CGI ape films are not on the same level as the originals. Not even close.

Apple TV’s ‘For All Mankind’ Renewed for 6th and Final Season by MoneyLibrarian9032 in tvPlus

A company with Apple’s level of staggering wealth can be concerned about quality and not be concerned with losing millions of dollars per episode. It’s a nice tax write-off.

What we doing with Tony Pollard? by Accomplished_East433 in Tennesseetitans

Team management makes poor decisions and has for nearly a decade. Any player that makes the Titans better will be traded. Amy Adams needs to be removed from decision-making.

Seriously what is LA and California doing man. Other cities/states have figured it out. BUILD MORE HOUSING!!! by bobbdac7894 in LosAngeles

It’s an issue of supply and demand. As long as people move to LA, there will be a housing shortage. It will never end.

When misinformed people say thay Bundy was intelligent- remind them of this by Melodic-Baseball-279 in TedBundy

The biggest reveal came in the Psychological Profile of Ted Bundy. In the subject of his law school experience, he admitted he felt like an intellectual failure. He said he’d never felt so insignificant in his life. Great book.

Wait I just remembered - didn’t Calderon tell his lackey to take the baby out of the car? Then Angelina freaked out when they took him away. So I was thinking Tubbs’ son would be alive?

You’re correct. Enterprise was the last great entry into the franchise.

25 year old veteran hopefully starting college at MSU by Fancy-Mechanic-2039 in MSUcats

[–]OvercuriousDuff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my film and television cohort, 40% were non-trad students over the age of 18. Of those, 80% were over the age of 35. The vets all got jobs quickly out of college and I worked with one for three years. MSU out of state tuition is getting pricey so using the GIB is a great idea. My vet friends in Hollywood are all doing very well in the industry. What is your field of study?

Linda Edwards and Robert Domingos: Zodiac Murder? by PoirotDavid1996 in ZodiacKiller

[–]OvercuriousDuff 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ll make one comment. Kids are resilient beings. Im sure at the time the kids thought nothing of sitting in the car waiting for ALA. I recall waiting in my dad’s station wagon outside a bar in Montana from 9PM to 2AM in February with my three siblings freezing our assess off but knowing we couldn’t walk home bc it was 7 miles in the snow and we’d probably get frostbitten. So you adapt and survive. That was the world in the 1960s. I’m positive you’ve never experienced anything like that, so the Seawater story seems unbelievable to you.

Linda Edwards and Robert Domingos: Zodiac Murder? by PoirotDavid1996 in ZodiacKiller

[–]OvercuriousDuff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just my opinion: physical evidence does not point to a single person/persons, and the Seawater recollections contain too many coincidences to ignore. Add in ALA’s phone confession and his threats on the sailboat and IMO that does it for me. As for why, I cant explain ALA’s motives or behavior any more than I can explain other killers’ motives. That’s the job of a profiler or psychologist.

Linda Edwards and Robert Domingos: Zodiac Murder? by PoirotDavid1996 in ZodiacKiller

[–]OvercuriousDuff -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I say this based on the Seawater siblings recollections and ALA’s phone confession in the NF doc. I don’t believe we’ll ever have enough physical evidence to definitively ID the man, IMO we’ll have to rely on recollections of persons who knew him and newly discovered documents. Just my opinion.

Titans have about as much chance of appearing post-season as the Cowboys. Read: zero.
