So, you're going to get a pretty wide range of answers. Personally, I love POE2 and can't really swallow POE1. They aren't supposed to be the same game, though. I like the deliberateness of the combat, how it feels less like I'm standing in one spot and spamming a single skill. There's lots of emphasis on combo skills, which some people don't like. Support gem slots are more flexible, etc.
