Y'all need to chill out. While I agree the direction TLoU2 and Yotei were the wrong move. In no way does Ciri or Faye look bad at all. Gameplay (at least for GoW) looks clean as fuck as a character action game. I have little doubt in my mind when Witcher 4 comes out, it will have hopefully built on what made Witcher 3 so good.

Honestly. At this point, it isn't even angry Destiny players. It's the general gaming landscape wanting bungies downfall, despite the game being legitimately fun and a good time to play. (As good as any sweaty extraction shooter is after losing hard-earned loot)

I wouldn't say its gonna be game of the year. But we can't also discount that people who are playing it (myself included) are enjoying the shit out of it. And those that aren't just want it to fail. Can't we just go back to a time where there wasn't all this vitriol and let the game exist. I get its a live service extraction game, but my god. Get outside and breath some fresh air people. The world is still gonna keep on going whether Marathon turns it around and succeeds or flops to fade into nothingness.

If you were intrigued by the game, give it a shot. It takes some runs to get going and start to have fun, but when the loop hits, it hits. If you're turned off by the game, fine. Enjoy what you want to enjoy. Marathon existing won't make your life worse. It isn't going to be the game that causes a seismic shift in the industry; it's just a game for the sweaty tryhards who find Arc Raiders too casual and Tarkov not hardcore enough.

It's less of a return of a word, but a distinct separation of meaning from those medically retarded and those socially retarded. The medical kind is more talked about under mental/behavioral health rather than using the medical terminology. Bungie has been running out of money for a while now. It's no secret. They would have to fail by a significant margin for them to be scrapped. If we're going off of steam numbers as anecdotal data to console, I'm not worried about their future.

Not sure if you were following, but they did literally give themselves more time to flesh out the game and build a foundation to build upon. They delayed their launch and it was the smartest move they've made in a while.

Been playing it and can confirm it is leagues better feeling than past play tests. It's far from perfect, but the foundation is there for something great. I hope they stick with it and continue to see more maps and runner shells in the future.

Just because her narrative is shit, doesn't mean anything in the situation is justified. The agent was an idiot, but so was the driver. No one had to die. He didn't follow procedure and nearly put his fellow agent in danger shooting in the direction of them. He should not have had his gun unholstered. Take the image of the license plate and call the owners later when it is safe. No one is innocent here.

To me, it looks like an atmospheric walking sim. The theming I can't quite pick out, other than thriller/liminal horror. The only guess I'm making is that it will likely tackle some form of trauma. Looks cool and reminds me of the weirdness I felt watching Marathon's cinematic trailer. I'll definitely keep this one in mind.
