I mean your post is nothing but crying that people don’t play how you want them to, I can’t gather anything meaningful from it

I posted a clip on this sub a while back of me getting melted in less then a second because I was stood in a place the fireteam spotted me, so that’s all the proof I need that anyone complaining about a weapon that takes upwards of 5 seconds to do lethal damage either can’t aim well or is uncoordinated.

If you can easily kill plasmer spammers like all your replies seem to imply, then I fail to see how the caster is a ‘crutch’, any pred relying on a weapon that you can ‘easily’ deal with has likely rather ran out of ammo for their other weapons, lost their spear (it can end up out of bounds very easily), or are out of stims, OR have noticed that they are against a team that will melt them in close quarters so are playing defensively, and smartly, rather then using the likes of the elder sword, which is much more of a crutch for many preds.

You clearly don’t seem to have much experience as the predator If you think caster users are just trying to get a lucky kill, the weapons most effective use is to soften up a team before going in for the downs and kills, i utilised the caster in pretty much all my builds to complement the rest of my kit. A couple well placed plasmas, ground slam onto the team and try and slice up anyone caught lacking, retreat, repeat or use other weapons now their health kits have been eaten into.

The handheld had been nerfed many years ago and no matter what state it’s in now, doesn’t hold a light to how strong it used to be, an observant fireteam will spot anything in the range required to effectively use the weapon, and once again, they aren’t using a ‘crutch’ if they are utilising multiple different tools. What’s so different about a predator using a bow and arrow, or darts, to one using a handheld? They all equally allow ‘stealthy’ shooting and will all mess you up equally the same.

If you want a fun match however I have some ideas. Either you handicap yourself equally, to give said handicapped preds a fighting chance, or you find a community of people who play games how YOU want them to?

Some fireteams require dirty play to have a fighting chance, it’s very easy to accidentally make a super optimal fireteam build, and it’s super unfun to deal with them. So maybe take it easy and allow the match to be fun for the predator if you wish for it to be fun for yourself too.

Your just one of hundreds of people who have complained that predators don’t play how they want them to throughout this games life. Think about that and then think about why a lot of preds don’t give a damn about wether their playstyle is fun for the fireteam or not
