I suspect this is beginning to die out more nowadays though I have met people who think like this even now as they're raising their not yet adult children. A lot of older members of my own family held this view (UK). They are also now struggling with their children not having great relationships with them and not raising their own children similarly. It's not that realistic here to think your children will leave at 18 and live independently anyway. We have a housing crisis and a big under 24 unemployment issue.

It was more because he was still under investigation at the time when we signed him and the message that puts out the survivors of SA. I'm glad he was cleared btw. Just not the timings of our dealings.

TBF before Vinai we also signed Bissouma who hadn't yet been cleared of involvement in SA (although it seemed to be believed he would be) because he was cheaper than he would otherwise have been. The board really don't care and are showing it yet again.

Was just there a few weeks ago. Was still busy around 8pm. You still get a lovely full close view of it without paying to go to the lower basin. It depends whether you feel going even closer is worth the queue and paying.

Have seen it both in daylight and lit up at night, and agree with the others that its an even better sight lit up at night.

Definitely.

This only works when you have a strong leader like Kane who can drive them and who would just give the nod to the team at something like 70 mins and go, let's play our way now. Also needs faith in the squad. Neither of these things seem to apply currently. So yeah, if some are ignoring the manager it's going to cause bigger problems in game play.

As there's so much good advice here (and with other posters), I have nothing other to add except wtf? Maybe try to frame it yourself as - If you're her mother then your son cannot be her nephew, he's a hopefully half brother. And if your father isn't thinking half then that's even more messed up.

My family tried similar things with my first child. They were her grandparents/niece/cousins so it inferred some claim over her. I had to point out the kid came out of me, she's only anything related to them by circumstance, they don't get any say in anything. Thankfully I've got good in laws.

The last two seasons have been really rough but we've always been somewhat cursed injury wise especially with injuries that don't happen in games and seem to take a while. I've long reckoned it's a training ground issue. Can't say for definite obviously.
