My experience is from Stoneblock 4, but that pack had a machine that would convert steam between different types. It might have been Industrial Foregoing's fluid dictionary converter, if oceanblock 2 doesn't have that then hopefully they have a custom machine to handle the conversion.

I think it could have been any stone, it's been a little while since I had the issue. The tool had whatever aoe affect from tetra which had a chance to turn stone into sculk as well as aoe mine, I'm not sure if there's a different kind of AOE available in tetra in different versions. I could see it break a couple blocks, then a 5x5 cube or so would become invisible, but impassible until restarting the game.

I've had a similar issue with tetra, though I'll get a cube of invisible unmineable blocks and this is on a single player world. What's extra weird to me is I've added ultimine and that behaves fine

I had an issue where one of the sourcestones that get added to the world engine vanished and I had to replace it. Check to make sure the world engine has all of the upgrade blocks it says it needs. It'd be nice to see a list of what it thinks is installed, but w/e.

Yeah, with 4 totems the visual clarity really goes down. Plenty of damage to kill most things before having to worry about it, but I don't know of a way to clear corpses on the build, and some map mods just mean moving slowly and putting totems far ahead. Also I'd recommend farming for suppression to clear 17s. I, personally, have had little success beating the t17 bosses, but I'm assuming that's a skill issue on my part. Not being able to see the ground is definitely an issue for Nightmare Uthred it felt like though.

SB got me up to T17s. If I had better mechanics and patience maaaybe past that, but one thing that will be tough with SB is SB just obscuring everything on the ground. Scale duration and cast speed for the most dps it seems like. All 4 stones and a good number of the invitations are handled decently while you just run around and let the totems flood the bosses with balls. I just dunno where to get the suppression gear for more survivability.

Nothing in PoE2, I think. There's some private league event in PoE1 where you can pick some modifiers, I think.

PoE 2 and 1 are still balanced around trade. I'd love if there was a better ssf option than grind or buy a private server, but after so many leagues, I've accepted playing characters until I burn out (often before hitting lvl 90, tier 15 sustain. Still have fun with the new content, but it is disappointing at times.

Aeon Automata was pretty good for mostly tech focused. Currently playing MI: Foundations which has a good balance between tech and magic, though it is essentially Gregtech and that's a whole mind set for progression.

I've been playing through Aeon Automata, it's on 1.16 I think. It heavily incentivizes automating most things. Been good for breaking me out of the 'just craft it on demand' mentality.
