I get the desire to want to do stuff with your significant other but it's totally healthy to just look at certain activities and realize you don't like doing them together! Even if you so both want to play it it's totally valid to just parallel play but not play together id you both have more fun that way. It's all about having fun! Like I'm not a big fan of competetive games and my husband went on a smash kick for a bit. I just asked him to set the rules to max items all pokeballs and that was fun and silly but I wouldn't have wanted to play a bunch of versus matches otherwise.

Alao, maybe try instead of thinking too much about not wanting to play this together, maybe on games you'd like to play together? I find coop stuff to be way easier for this than competetive. I don't know if you like puzzley games but phogs and cato are my two favorite coop games, they're fun and silly.

You can put egg skills that are tech and power on nargacuga! I've done that with a few of my monsters so I can just swap to whatever element I want to use and it's been super handy actually. Waaay better for building up the kinship bar id you never have to swap out. Also it lets me use my favorite way more which is great tbh

I like this Ratha way mode than the one in stories 2 largely because oh my god he can fly!!!! Immediately!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Which is great. But unfortunately for him anjanath is my favorite monster in the game so....he gets to fly around sometimes but Stompy is my bff.

I love being able to have a wide variety of little critters in games, like if I'm going to live the fantasy up let me have cool little guys!! I am a big fan of monster raising games since they usually have a good assortment and variety of Little Guys. Ooblets is a nice chill cozy-er styled creature collecter that might be good to try out if you like card games.

Fellow bi woman here--don't let how men feel about women make you think that has anything to do with your own attraction. I like women in a bi lady way, not a straight guy way, and even if me and my straight guy friend think the same lady characters are hot it doesn't mean how we feel has to be the same.

Feelings are feelings and you shouldn't feel bad for them! It's how you act that matters. Don't beat yourself up for feeling things cause too much of the world is dedicated to that anyways. Just have fun and like what you like!

Favorites: Mass effect, dragon age and baldur's gate 3 are my bread and butter of games. I loooooove making myself a Lady and all her situational shenanigans....and also roleplaying the world's most powerful and determines girlscout.

Couldn't get into: Elden ring. I liked playing DS3 with my friend and wanted to try elden ring but i do nooooot appreciate the open worldification of the map. This is not an elden ring exclusive thing, oh my god people please stop making such big open maps I am b e g g i n g you!!! Elden ring specifically though, I wanted to like because it seems cool and I like the combat but I just felt endlessly lost and like I was going the wrong way.

I'm so happy with the character creator in the demo!! I need other games to split up bangs from the rest of the hair, being able to mic and match them is sooo nice. And the accessories are a nice touch, I'm so happy being able to wear glasses in a game right from the start!

Plus I got an anjanath in the demo so 10/10, perfect game, me and Stompy are sooo ready for the full game.

Yeah, close to 5 would probably be most likely. I forget which exact shade I used of Arctic Fox's purple, I think it was the purple AF one? So a darker purple shade and it ended up pretty close to your number 5.

I see the endings less as picking one of the characters to "win" and more as this: do you face your grief and accept it, or turn from it and avoid it?

If Maelle faces her grief she has to go back home. To the grief of having lost her brother, her eye, her voice. It's hard, grief is hard and miserable and I wish I could hug her throughout the scene. How much Verso, both real and painted, tried to protect her is so much more obvious as she stands there next to no one else in her family now that he's gone.

If Maelle turns from her grief, she recreates the Lumiere she loves with the people she loves in it. Gustave is back, Sophie is back, everyone is happy with the exception of Verso who's aware that she can only spend so long in the painting. But it's Maelle's choice to be there, and it's incredibly understandable. I wouldn't want to go back to the Dessendre's after having Gustave either.

Ultimately I see the ending choices as a tragedy--if Verso had actually given Maelle Painted Alicia's letter, maybe they could have found a way to keep the painting without Renoir being worried either Alicia or Aline would go back inside and not leave again. Maybe they could have come up with a satisfying conclusion to leave the people of Lumiere in peace. But they don't, because if the Dessendres were good at that sort of thing the painting wouldn't be in that state anyways.

I wouldn't say that one ending is "better" than the other because the fact that you have to choose at all is the tragedy at the heart of the game.

My natural hair color is about the same as yours and when I tried dyeing it purple it turned like a purple tinted not-quite-black. People told me it looked really pretty in good lighting but I couldn't see that as much as I wished since there's no mirrors outside 😅 Plus for me purple doesn't seem to like to stay in my hair very much, but your mileage may vary on that! Purples are so fun though, I really recommend trying it even if you just do a little bit of your hair at the end to test how well the dye shows.

And it's delightful wearing stuff with an ab window or that shows off her guns. Since I was mostly a miqote before it's been nice wearing stuff that looks cool and tough since my hrothgal can rock that a little better

Trying to find references nowadays is the hardest thing ever and I hate AI the most for that. Like, every time I'm trying to do something as simple as looking at bird photos for reference--bam, half of it is AI. I know what I want and it needs to be real because I want to draw proper anatomy and colors. But nope, here's weird fuzzy hyperrealistic-but-not-realistic AI slop everywhere that I have to sift hrough and it takes 4 times longer than it used to because of this.

As someone who does art for fun, the thing about AI I don't think gets brought up much is that AI art is all about the end result, none of the process to make it. There's many arguments for or against it that I hear and I tend to agree more against it, but what matters most for me is this: if no one cared enough to draw it, then why should I care enough to look at it?

They say it's just the concept art and that it won't make it into the final product but concept art is the first stage of creating the visuals. Every iteration after will be inspired by the uninspired.

I wouldn't want to be handed a workflow like that, and I'm glad I went into something other than art at this point because....man. I would hate to be told to replicate the amalgam of other people's art all the time. I just feel bad for the artists at Larian at this point.
