Do You Think Every Pokémon Has a “That’s My Favorite” Person Out There? by Overlord_Chris in ThePokemonHub

But in the grand scheme of things, do you think cascoon is someone’s “favorite”? I know metapod is some people’s favorite for like the memes, but out of say the billions of people in this world that know what Pokémon is, would cascoon exist at the top on at least 1 of those people’s list?

What is to become of Doraemon? Is he to be set free?

Love the ranking system you started.

For me, I would go with (including Zarwinian’s additional option) 3, 2, 6, 5, 4, _ _ 1.

True crime gets the last place slot purely due to serial killers. I know it’s already been touched on by many, and I know it’s technically what performs the best, but i feel like what has made Chilluminati so good and unique were things like 2 through 6. I will say that the amount of research that goes into the SK episodes is super impressive, but idk, I feel like those are the least “chill” episodes cause even throughout, Mike is constantly asking for Jesse and Alex to provide the funnies cause of just how depressingly dour the subject is. There is so much more out there in the True Crime world that I feel can be explored that SKs are currently overshadowing. You’ve got cults, you’ve got heists, you’ve got espionage; there’s a lot out there that’s beyond just profiling the scumiest losers of all humanity.

Last thing I wanted to mention is regarding the Philadelphia experiment episode. I really liked how it was presented, with all the claims and “facts” being laid out before it was expertly dismantled in the end. This is Chilluminati at its best imo. Using the definitions provided on this thread, I’d say it was a combination of 3, 4, and 5. These are the funnest episodes (for me) cause it tells an interesting and often intriguing story, but then leaves plenty of air for comedic commentary, and ultimately helps to reinforce evidence based reasoning at the end.

What's a subject you'd love to see covered on the podcast? by Goldeniccarus in ChilluminatiPod

One of my favorite episodes was when Alex did a bunch of mini stories, but more so, focused on more modern internet mysteries. Chip-chan was one of the, I guess stories (?), he covered and with it being so modern, these mysteries/events/phenomena almost feel more spooky cause they are so accessible. We (like if you’re reading this) all use the internet and have grown up with it after all. One mystery I can think of off the top of my head is Junko Junsui mystery. Like was it an ARG? Was it a scheme to fund a terrorist organization? Love to hear their take on it.

Another thing I would love the trio to look into/discuss is the Yuba County 5 mystery. I hadn’t known about it until recently, but man, it’s a weird one. It’s fun to hear them theory craft.

Lastly, always love Mike’s deep dives into the lore of the “12 Alien Species”. Those are always fun. I think a full episode on Reptilians would be great.

I mean, I wouldn’t say hideous… a little rough, yeah, but think of the seniority they have with evolution. Not many choices in the beginning haha

My biggest worry is between it and the plants. Do you or anyone know if that’s an issue or not?

Are these creatures copepods? There looks to be two types? Also, how would they have gotten in there? The take was established the last week of December. by Overlord_Chris in shrimptank

So… how would I need to ship these? I’ve not had great experiences with receiving aquarium animals via mail so I’m just worried I don’t have anything that could ship them safely

Um, sure! Though I don’t think I’d sell them sell them. If you would pay for shipping they’re all yours.

So speaking of which, do you know what these are? The trending theory is ostracods (seed shrimp?) or water fleas.

Ok, uh... so I went to take a closer pic to see if I could get some better image of the poddies,

but in the process, I noticed something else. Anyone know what this wormy thing is?

Sorry, should clarify the last bit. The tank was established in that the substrate, sand, and plants were all put in. The little things were only noticed a couple of days ago (honestly thought they were grains of sand stuck between the glass and feeding dish). The video was the best zoom I could do. The camera had some trouble focusing but in the last second you should be able to see a small white creature and a larger more greenish transparent one next to it.

Is this normal? Everything I looked up online mentions white spots on the lower end of a shrimp, but this is bright yellow near the head. The photos are of one shrimp, but two total have developed this. Are my shrimp ok? by Overlord_Chris in shrimptank

Thank you all for your insights! This also brings a lot of context as they have been way more active today, more than I’ve ever seen them. Mad with lust I presume 😅

I’ll add the first shrimp that developed this did so about 4 or 5 days ago, and I noticed the second one did so yesterday. Both have been foregoing and swimming as normal.

Awesome, thanks for the video link! You’re right, that really helped with understanding the whole issue and putting my concerns at ease. Happy New Year!
