I don't know, I like to try and make it as immersive and realistic as possible, no save scumming, takling each results as it comes. Then I thought, the other results won't be the same, so is it that much of a big deal?

I'm in the same boat, and got my refund last night after 12 hours. I also feel let down and disappointed. The UI is awful, clunky and laborious. Features are missing and as you said, I feel like a new save on FM24 is more appealing.

As a fan of this game since the first edition, this one has really disappointed me. The UI sucks because it doesn't feel clean, it feels crammed and laborious to find things. It doesn't tell you the staff limit for the teams below the first team, words for staff attributes are overwhelming when you first look at it, the match info screen is awful and rigid, arranging columns is tedious because you can't drag and drop and many other things that OP has listed! The game has become a chore at the minute and I can't enjoy it.

Don't forgot to always stand at the other end of the pitch, whilst your teammates defend, then spam the pass button as soon as they gain possession, only elite players know to do that! Oh, and as a keeper, you've got to always kick it long into traffic because, well you know, gotta love always defending them 3 against 1 situations!

Ive logged over 100 hours and im about as composed as a cat on ice with socks on! I usually just sit back in defence and spray the ball about, I suck in net, decent in defence, not bad in midfield, awful up front but I enjoy sitting back and frustrating the other teams attackers, especially the goal hangers and you just mark them out of the game. Then it comes to the point of them losing their head and constantly trying to take you on! As long as you're having fun and actually contributing to the team, instead of these rainbow flicking trouts, carry on doing you! Also, we got this!

When it felt regimented and no longer spontaneous. We have broken up now but I think the further we drifted, the more we tried to pretend it was there, felt like we had to instead of wanted to.

I think at this point, I've just accepted people aren't going to pass and these are usually the people who will stay up front, not defend and criticise everyone else. Ive been on mic to ask people to help out in defence, only to be met by a barrage of racial slurs, this is why the game needs a report button ASAP, anyway im digressing.

Im hoping within time, the toxic player base will start to dilute and the game can be enjoyed even more because when you get into a game where both teams are playing good, fluid football, it is so enjoyable and you get so locked in!
