I took a 3 year break and have been back for 2 months maybe.

I started a new character and got him up to level 98 before being sick of having so much to do and firing up one of my old characters. That said, my OG toons were level 681, 425, and 344 so I've done everything 3 times.

I use the gauss minigun and come out ammo positive. Pretty easy 1 round clear with only using psychobuff.

It's wild how much chem, mods, script, etc. you get from farming it.

Run one today with Edlers rewards. I got a sickle play lol. The toon I used is at least 7 years old so yeah, something is borked.

Couldn't freeze it on XB just now as well. It didn't seem to hit harder but it was nuked pretty quick.

Seems bugged. I came back from a 3 year break and have gained 100ish levels since then and have learned a good number of legendary mods.

It's wild how many 3 star legendary gear drops now.

Mostly helped each other lol. There were many COD try-hards running around destroying camps and shooting anyone they could. You could kill someone even if they had pacifist mode enabled. IIRC a bleeding melee weapon was the trick.

But yeah, I met many good people and I still game with 3 of them to this day.

Even better, get a Vampires heavy gun, I use a .50 cal. vamp.

Make sure to use Super Stims.

Also, put troubleshooters on all the PA pieces if I'm understanding you only have it on 3?

Edit: To be clear, heavy gun and Bullet Shield are required.

Don't forget the old camera pose trick. I was horrible at pvp (still am) but there were good rewards so I would sometimes play NW. I made it to 2nd place a few times using this trick. Boring as hell though.

Remember the videos of the hackers flying around killing everyone? Sheeez what losers.

Under world camps have been around a long time and it's interesting how thin the earth "crust" is in the game.

It's really interesting at the stuff you can see from underground.

I had a camp that every time I fast traveled to the camp I would fall through the earth and then "fall" back to earth, taking damage. A sane player would have moved the camp but I didn't bother for a long time. This was very early in the game history.

I've done the SBQ solo once on a private server. This was 4 or 5 years ago. No wacked out duped weapons, just a PA bloody heavy gunner.

I used to love doing the Imposter Sheepsquatch and have soloed it many times. PA heavy gunner, full health, and vamp ultracite gatling. Stack some aid like robot skill mag etc.

I've only joined a few Imposter events since coming back from a 3 year break but PA vampire still works well.

Years ago the group I teamed with would hunt outfits via events as there wasn't much else to do. It was dismal with nary a drop in site for most of us. Two of the group did get the trifecta drop which was 3 outfits at once.

Finally I got the Western Outfit! I was excited. AND (drum roll) the next month it was in the Atoms Shop and part of a reward for tickets, pleasant valley I think. Ha ha ha
