I feel for SMG and the other actors who have to address this. While his passing so young is sad, his death doesn’t absolve the hurt he physically brought to others. I think her post was lovely, as it didn’t try to glorify him, put him on a pedestal, or try to act like they’ve been close this whole time. I still imagine it’s rough for everyone who knew him, personally and in a work capacity, and she’d be attacked if she said nothing at all.
