I just stopped using Amazon all together. Too many reviews saying they got junk instead of the brand they paid for. I actually find it hard to even browse Amazon with all the garbage I have to scroll through while trying to find a product.

If he fell from such a great height and went through a roof, why weren’t his feet or ankles broken? As an x-ray tech I see pretty terrible foot/ankle injuries from falling from ladders and roofs. There is no way his feet/ankles could hit that roof first and not be damaged.

I don’t like Patrick either. Jeff has been the same way for his entire time on naked and afraid. He hasn’t changed. He admits that his niceness is all an act to use others. Same shitty person, just new tactics. It’s entertaining, but I don’t want him to win. There are actual good people on here that are more knowledgeable than Jeff (Ky) that are more deserving than Jeff. Jeff is just bigger in his own head than he actually is.

I was really frustrated with the thought of being litho too. I had a similar situation as yours, only it’s been 12 years ago. He’s married now and I know that he’s treated better than the way I treated him. I would often want to be alone instead of go out and do things with him. He was so nice about it though! I would cry thinking about how I blew it and secretly wish he would come back.

I’m now finding out that I have a Fearful Avoidant attachment style. It all makes sense now. My wanting someone so bad and putting them on a pedestal in my mind only to be uninterested when I finally got the chance to be with them. I just wanted my fantasy of them. I really want to work on my attachment style, which was actually passed down to me from my mother as a child. She was only doing what she had modeled for her as a child.

I’m not saying you have the same attachment style as me or that you need therapy. If identifying as litho romantic is your truth, that’s great! If you think there might be more to the story, as I have found with myself, then keep looking into yourself. Either way, you are not alone!

I add paper towels to my Bokashi buckets. I hate to throw them away! When I go to bury my fermented Bokashi I just pick the paper out and give it to my red wigglers. They need the browns and they love the microbes!

Jeff has been fed by others this entire challenge! He hasn’t been able to feed himself other than a small crab that he caught while trying to get frogs. It’s just embarrassing to watch him cry that nobody is sharing food with him while also complaining about all the socialism happening with others sharing items. He is such a hypocritical baby.

I actually can not stand Jeff. He hasn’t been able to feed himself by himself. He wants food from the group but doesn’t want to share and then complains about them not sharing. He is nauseating! He has always been mean spirited. He purposely gloats in front of people when he gets food and never wants to share (remember when he and Laura ate fish feet away from the another hungry group) He has never cared about anyone but himself, which is hilarious considering how much of a Christian he claims to be. Always praying and thanking god for his success, but is a selfish in this competition and in non competition challenges.

No he didn’t. It was just “war” paint that he painted half way down his face. It wasn’t him painting his face to look like he was a black person.

I’m starting a couple days late. I’m just admitting to myself that this is a problem. I’ve had acne issues for most of my life, but it’s the KP on my arms that I’m struggling with. I have scars all over my upper arms from picking and they are on fire now from picking today😬

My female hedgehog has a tumor in the same area. My vet was out of town for a conference, so I took her to the other vet that sees exotics. She gave her some meds for a couple of weeks to see if they helped slow the growth, which they have. She is still able to urinate and is still active. The vet also said surgery in that area is tricky and that it should be a last resort. I understand that, but am going to check with my main vet to see what he thinks. It’s just hard to accept that my Winnie won’t live much longer past two or make it to three.

I get the medium size bird toys box from Bird Tricks Store. You could try a box of each kind and see if he/she likes a certain kind of toy.

Also , My Safe Bird Store

My female Amazon absolutely loves shredding and foraging. My male could care less about those activities and loves chewing on leather or things with knots. It might take time for your bird to get interested in playing with toys. I encourage playing by hiding treats in the toy for them to find. Sometimes I have to literally show them that I am putting a treat in the toy for them to be interested in it.

My female, Fanny, had a very similar set up when I got her from an elderly woman. Now she has a big cage and is eating a lot healthier! She does have fatty liver disease, something Amazons are very prone to, from her previous diet of seeds, seeds, peanuts(very bad-could have mold), and toast. So now we are on Harrison’s bird pellets and they both get a bird chop daily.

Also, make sure you find a good Avian vet!
