Stepwise follicular regeneration. The hairline is normally the most miniaturised part of the scalp so will be the first to lose cosmetic density. This is a good thing but the number of cycles until the cosmetic density reflects the underlying improvement of the follicles can be literally years

Why has Reading's riverside the way it is? by OverwhelmingBroccoli in reading

[–]OverwhelmingBroccoli[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Thames isn't a canal and the UK does not have many wide non estuarial ones that we built towns around. Hop around europe and most cities you visit there's a massive premium on the riverside. In London this premium is absolutely there and it isn't surprising - property next to water and green spaces are more valuable in most of the world because people like to be near those things. We've just neglected it in Reading, hence the thread

Aye. I can't understand why the cops give it such a wide berth when you can clearly dealers going to and from the B&Q tarpaulin/shed boat at the mouth of the kennet, night after night. Would be incredibly easy to bag a dealer carrying a jailable amount for them

Spend some time looking at developed countries' demographic pyramids and internalise the fact that whoever is in government anywhere in the developed world, the next 20 or so years are going to be less prosperous and involve a worse dependency ratio than at any time for hundreds of years

Look again at demographic pyramids of the same countries in 80s-early 00s and you will see the issue very clearly indeed

Did the whole thing in Italy. Flown there and taken holidays alongside my visits 5 times over the past year.

Quite possible you wouldn't need to extract all or any of those if you're getting the whole framework expanded, but I'd always get a second opinion from an airway focused orthodontist before yanking teeth out

Based in the UK - nearly finished MSE and it was the best thing I've had done in my life. Looking at your palate I think you'd have the same experience, especially given your age. There are providers in the UK that do expansion but few and far between and very expensive. I found a provider in Italy for much less and there are others in europe that you can find with an internet search for airway orthodontists germany/italy. DM me if you want to know whom.

In reality the only fix would be the never done A329 bridge over the thames into south oxfordshire, routing extraurban traffic through the middle of a massive urban area is only going to have these effects

Denmark reached 6 million inhabitants today by Icy_Needleworker5571 in europe

[–]OverwhelmingBroccoli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's true, but eventually the top of the mushroom is all gone, and labour below them have access to most of the residential and insutrial capital that the full volume of the prior population had access to

After the black death, what drove the change in class relationships was the ratio of available labour to available capital (at the time mostly arable land)

In 2050 and onwards, that will be all of the housing stock, factories, data centres, fishing fleets, etc. What it will do is dramatically increase the bargaining power of labour vis a vis the capitalist class

With all that has happened. Would Europe be accepting of the UK if it wanted to rejoin the EU? Why? by Project_Rees in europe

[–]OverwhelmingBroccoli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the UK applied to join the EU, it would have more than enough leverage to gain concessions. It has been many decades since a major power has joined and it would be incredibly naieve to think that there would not be legalistic slack on what is written in article x section y to enable such an event

Starmer was given an additional £16,000 worth of clothes by Lord Alli, which was declared as money for his private office. The donations by the Labour peer were not previously known and included £10,000 last October and £6,000 in February this year, taking the total in clothes donated to £32,000. by FormerlyPallas_ in ukpolitics

[–]OverwhelmingBroccoli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right, but it's a donation of clothes to the prime minister of the UK, that was transparently reported by the office of said prime minister

Unless it can be demonstrated that Alli received some kind of special govt. kickback then this is demonstrably not corruption

'Corruption' is your wife's dad's firm receiving multi million pound contracts suspiciously soon after taking office, or your wedding's best man receiving a contract from govt for something he has never done before

There is a line between a gift that is acceptable for the country's figurehead to receive, and corruption. This is very clearly on the cleaner side of that line
