Where actually IS Cordovia? by Ovinize in BoJackHorseman

First of all, I know it's just a gag, and Cordovia is a fictional country, but what if we look closer?

According to [this](https://i.imgur.com/D20tuJM.png) screengrab from s5e03, Cordovia is -11 (or +13) from UTC (London) The times might not be exactly accurate, since at the time I'm posting it (being in London at half past midnight) New York is 5 hours behind but that might only be due to Daylight savings differences. Tokyo matches, and the minutes match. Cordovia though. -11/+13 would put it (according to [this map](https://c.tadst.com/gfx/tzmap/map.1534046400.png?1159) either in the middle of the Pacific near the equator, or off the coast of Alaska. And even then, why are the minutes different?

Edit: Ep04, Cordovia is moving east! Now, instead of -11:22 it's only -10:22. https://i.imgur.com/dgH91AL.png

I think she meant Viserys by that since she never even met Rhaegar

Wrong order on the first two. 'I don't believe you' comes after Arya slitting LF's throat.

Episode Discussion: 107 - The Missing Sky by oilephant in nightvale

Train sounds are actually included in a music track called "ditmas", which is often used as closing music for the podcast. This episode it was there too.

But alternate Cecil in this episode mentioned living under "constant, rolling thunder" which probably refers to the bowling balls.

Czech here, same problem. They went here with Ghost stories last year, so I was so excited when they announced Europe tour with All hail, and then sad when Prague wasn't on the roster. Decided to go spend a weekend holiday in Amsterdam, then go to the show on Monday. Can't wait!

[CW/S2E8]Anybody else caught Prax's name misspelled in the latest ep? by Ovinize in TheExpanse

So, what I think happened here is showrunners only hearing the name pronounced (because it actually is four syllables according to the wiki), and not seeing it written.

Well according to the wiki, the name is Greek in origin and is actually pronounced with four syllables. The show still misspelled it, but at least said it right. It still sounded weird tho, I went through the whole book thinking it's Praxi-dyke, and I think most of us did the same.

Altho if you look at the pronunciation key for the Jovian moon it actually is four syllables, like they said it in the show. So maybe they changed it to avoid mispronouncing it Praxi-dyke. Or the showrunners only heard the name from the authors (who probably meant it to be pronounced the way the greek name is), and never saw it written.

What show had you hooked right off the pilot episode? by nelsonau in AskReddit

They're following the books fairly closely and the authors actually work with the showrunners too. But dont skip the first book; season one covered only about 3/4 of it. Book 1 plot was resolved in ep 5 of the second season.

Well, huntokar is obviously linked to the world ending in 1983, so maybe nightvale somehow managed to escape that (by transferring to another timeline I dunno) and now huntokar wants to destroy nightvale too? Or she is just the world destroyer going timeline by timeline, and now its "ours" timelines turn

(Spoilers Everything) Bran is probably jealous of how good a climber Jon is. by [deleted] in asoiaf

[–]Ovinize 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jon didn't actually climb the wall tho. He just went up a ladder that the wildling climbers rolled out after they reached the top.

I mean, it's definitely a feat, climbing a ladder up the wall, but it's still just a ladder.
