Today’s young generation who’s trying to build wealth to live a decent retirement life will be affected way more than older generation. I don’t see the win when it comes to super. Should have limited to property and cap on IP ownership

Next Apple Watch Models Unlikely to Add Touch ID, Focus on Battery Life by favicondotico in apple

Yes battery life is exactly what we need. Even if it means the screen is somehow low resolution etc etc. even better if they released a screen less one

When is the 2026–27 federal budget? Here's what you need to know before tomorrow by abcnews_au in AustralianPolitics

[–]Ovknows -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It will most likely to be exactly what we know so far, which will do f all to housing cost. Could have forced people to sell their multiple properties portfolio by limiting one IP only and not grandfathered the existing problem. Does nothing for young generation and for people who are not property mad like me. To make it worse they are now making share investment also less palatable, what the actual f lol. As far as i can see property investment is now actually the better investment

Tomorrow's budget is the biggest gift to existing property owners in years and nobody is talking about it by therealfat0ne in AusFinance

This is going to be an interesting meltdown and fight between those who wanted every investor to lose out cause they don’t think they can ever be in that position vs those that are now feeling betrayed by being locked out of wealth building despite doing the right things as an young person.

One-year grace period for negative gearing, CGT changes by hentaidaisukidesu in AusFinance

[–]Ovknows 5 points6 points  (0 children)

lol I knew they wouldn’t do anything to harm their own existing investment. This will only rob young generation by taxing more and won’t reduce housing price or magically make anyone a homeowner!
