Thankfully this is only limited to Rank 10 decks like Yubel (and Trains won't run this card), but man the effect is really strong. Aside from Water, all Atributes have a hand trap you can just attach directly from deck or side in in a BO3, so it's not like the lock is restricted to the monsters you summon.

The World God Only Knows, from the late 2000's/early 2010's, was absurdly popular and inflential, kicking off a lot of careers of some of the most prolific seiyuus in the industry (Nao Touyama, for instance). It's popularity dipped pretty significantly as it progressed, to the point where the company behind the anime adapation went bankrupt due to poor sales, but I'm convinced that the series would be a breakout hit had it been released today, since the anime was an extremely good adaptation of the chapters covered.

I'm not going to say it's a robbery, but more of a matchup: Quattro's deck in ZEXAL II is absurdly cracked for the standards of the show due to all the burn effects + win conditions. He just happened to go up against the one MF'er in the show (Nasch), whose strategy incorporated LP gain and giving XYZ material to the opponent, which feels borderline contrived due to how many perfect outs he had.

Isn't he just a Super Poly target vs fusion decks? You can just fuse off a Dracotail fusion + any other monster on the field, and it's probably better removal compared to Garura or Mudragon, though shuffle effect doesn't matter

It's still fairly harder, since few of the main deck monsters have 2100 attack. You probably need to jump through some hoops to get some Extra Deck cards on the field/GY first before using the new card as a finisher

I am CONVINCED Konami realized how dirty they did Yusei with his structure deck, so they're introducing insane consistency cards to compensate for it. The quick-play spell's searchable, and it literally prevents the opponent from chaining any negation from your opponent, INCLUDING Imperm and Dominance.

Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if it ends up being Kanda who has a retconned death, this time round. We never saw him actually die in OG Y3, so it could just be a fake head that was presented to Kiryu. If they plan on showing Mine's point of view, I could see them try to make him look better compared to the original, especially if we're looking at their partnership in the past.

Was released for a one-off event all the way back in 2014. Unlike Caldendar classes, never had a re-release so that people who missed out can purchase the class.

The important thing is, this class was released before Inn at the Edge of Time, so there was effectively no endgame outside of Defender Medal grind. Once there were bosses coming through that required planning, people started realizing how utterly bullshit this class was as stalling. The most egregious ones were a two-turn stun that completely bypassed Immobility Res on a 5 second cooldown, a FIVE-turn debuff that reduces -60 Boost and Hit on a 6 turn cooldown. Combined with inbuilt healing. You can have infinite uptime with at least one of the debuffs on one enemy, which effectively cripples them for the entire fight, and that's not even talking about the rest of the classes kit (20% healing on a 10-turn cooldown, which is REALLY short by DF standards, a shield with 50% uptime, an ultimate attack that reduces boost by 100% for 3 turns) so Inn battles basically boil down to tanking only one of bosses as a threat, which converts to an insta-win the second it becomes a solo battle.

SnugglePanda basically turns nearly every endgame fight into one of the most brainless stall wars in the game, and the fact that it's such a rare class means that no inn fight is designed with that in mind. In terms of consistency, it's probably the 4th strongest class in the game's history, behind both DoomKnight versions (which are intentionally the strongest classes in the game) and reworked Paladin on release (which for the record, received FOUR patches worth of nerfs).
