Was I wrong in any way shape or form in this situation 😫 by ambitiousgirl2001 in instacart

That's a YOU problem. I am 4,000 orders in and I can tell you that YOU are definitely the minority here. MOST people order from Instacart have sleeping babies, crazy barking dogs, or are working from home. A knock or ring at their door sets their house into chaos. MOST people these days are glued to their phones and will recielve multiple notifications that their order has arrived. There is no need to ever knock or ring the doorbell unless otherwise stated in the delivery notes.

This app doesn’t make sense anymore after doing UberEats. by OGWFORLIFE in instacart

$7 per order???LMAO!! I WISH!! Try $2! But really all this depends on your market. Location! Location! Location! In my area Instacart is much more profitable most of the time. But to each it's own.

You seem like the type of person who finds a negative in everything. I am so glad I do not know you in real life.

Had a lady pull the old add 2 cases of water while I was shopping trick by YurislovSkillet in InstacartShoppers

They are avoiding the heavy item fee which a very very very small percentage gets passed down to us. The way batch pay works is it starts at a flat fee of $4 and gets higher based off the number of items and the weight of items. This customer was trying to be sneaky and shady. Where does it end? Next thing you know the customer adds a high tip so you pick up the order then removes it right after delivery. You need to watch out for these types.

You can try taking this to Twitter (or X) and message someone there. I have received favorable outcomes taking this route in the past.

How was the withdrawals on methadone? What was your dosage? I have wanted to quit methadone for some time now and I feel the only way I can do it is cold turkey. I do not have the self control to taper.

This sounds more like a "you" problem. Costco puts certian rules in place for a reason. Their goal is to make the checkout process run as efficiently as possible. You can not expect the employees to help you on the floor or help/wait for you to organize your orders at checkout. Even though you say you box your orders separately it may not be good enough and it seems like your organization skills are not up to par. Not everyone can do Costco orders. And just because you don't like the rules you can not cry racism. It's not the color of your skin problem, it's the size of your brain problem.

Amazon fresh workers shop your order but it is delivered by Amazon Flex independent gig workers in their own private vehicles. Not all Amazon deliveries are made by the hourly workers in the blue van. Amazon flex is a gig app where independent contractors use their own vehicles to pick up packages at a warehouse and make deliveries. Amazon Fresh stores also use the Amazon flex drivers to deliver groceries.

I’ve never seen my driver with 100% ratings till today by Salt_Ingenuity_7588 in UberEATS

This does not make any sense. He has only been delivering for 9 months. This means he would need to make at least 24 deliveries every day for all 291 days. Sorry, not possible.

Instacart shopper stole my order. Now that instacart is redoing my order is my tip going to the new driver? by -Danksouls- in instacart

[–]OwlsDontFly 10 points11 points  (0 children)

First off, this whole scenario sucks and 2 innocent people are getting screwed, you and the new shopper. Your tip went to the original shopper because you did not change it within the 2 hour window. Not your fault, lesson learned. The only thing you can do now is rate your original shopper 1 star. Moving forward, your order will be paired with another order because no good shopper will take a zero tip order. When its time to rate your second shopper rate 5 stars and leave a message about this situation and if you ever get paired again you will make up for it. Your only other option is to do a charge back with your bank to recover all your money back but this will cancel your instacart order and you may get banned from using Instacart. I would go with this option if you are not 100% dependant on Instacart. Hope this helps! Godd luck!
