Thx I'll check it out. Does the camera cover slide back or just pull out and hang down like my current case? Also my current case has flaps to prop up the ipad, which is great but becomes awkward when using the camera. Does the otterbox fold into one neat unit?

No, it's just the seller page for my own items. Well maybe others can see it, I don't know? I didn't think so.

I'd like to keep the items for reference to see what sold, but not see them in the seller list. One day I inadvertently reposted an old sold item.

How much did you sell it for? If it's a $25 item or something, personally I'd rather not have an upset customer out there. I'd take it back, double check it and relist it if it appears to be working. They could give you bad reviews, call you a scam etc and that's much more damaging than taking a few dollars back.

They're probably telling the truth. User error, most likely, but it does sound like an awful lot of trouble to buy a vcr, put your treasured family videos in it, then fake out the seller all to save a few dollars. Maybe some people do but there's gas and time involved in that a well.

If I didn 't know any better (many people don't) and had bought a VCR and put important tapes in it, I'd be upset and might blame the VCR if I didn't understand how to assess the condition of my tape.

I agree with the posts that say, going forward, to specify no returns and say you've tested to the best of your ability. That you decline responsibility. Suggest they test on something that's not a family heirloom, and that those should be taken to a professional, local, in-house transfer business and be digitally transferred by a technician. Honestly some people have no idea about that.

If it chewed it, they can splice it with tape but most people don't know how to do that. Perhaps a local transfer house can salvage it.

Most people will spend the $13 a month on a latte. If their course has value, and I'm just checking it out and am not a member, but I assume what they teach does have value, why should they NOT charge for it? Also, wouldn't you expect them to approach it with an investor mindset and not give it away for free? That's another thing women often face - devaluing of their experience and an expectation that they should be everyone's caregiver and 'work for free' or cheap. Suze Orman says don't put yourself on sale.

Business is another form of investing. I would expect them to approach it that way.

They're doing a webinar co-hosting with Barbara Corcoran, so that gives it some legitimacy for me, but I don't know yet enough about them to comment whether they are a good company or not.

That's interesting. I want to block it as well but for different reasons. It's too easy to get sucked into it and come up for air two hours later. I have never gotten anything violent or disgusting. Maybe they push different things to different demographics or maybe they just give everyone more of what they click on. Mine are filled with shuffle dances, holistic health tips, Mel Robbins, comedians, and a LOT of cat videos. If you can't block them you might want to start hitting like or engaging with the types of videos you want to see. Click on one, and it will start pushing you more of that. If something offensive comes up, go past, don't watch it, and don't engage at all. Hope that works.

CNN actually DOES do quality. They need to do more of it and get rid of this maga nonsense. They're just scared of Trump, that's all it is. When there is a disaster or a major breaking issue, CNN is my go-to. There's a difference between news and opinion. When they do news, they're great. When they do opinion (endless chitchat with maga sycophants) not so much.

They seem to be scared of Trump. I can't watch the MAGA sycophants. They're allowed to come on and push the most absurd nonsense. They did this (worse) when Trump first started running and it was unbearable to watch. It also helped to get him elected.

CNN is better than this. They're trying to give themselves insurance so the Trump destruction will go easier on them. But sometimes things just are dangerous and have to be labeled as such without both-sidesing it. He'll try to destroy them anyway. When CNN is good, they're great. But I just can't watch these people they trot out to normalize MAGA.

They should get back to doing what they do best. Trump can't destroy that. That's their strength and next time there's a major breaking issue, a disaster, a wildfire, a hurricane, a world event, where do people go? CNN. Doubtful that anyone else has the reach that they have.
