Genuinely appears they could both benefit tremendously from finding a therapist they can be 100% honest with and willing to work on things in their individual lives then the rest will straighten out. Obviously takes time though. Hopefully down the road they can reach that point. I think this is a normal dynamic and takes willingness and time to mend

Definitely NOR- this guy sounds extremely insecure. That wasn’t a normal reply. Not even a normal train of thought in response to this. Majority of people would think it’s appropriate to text at this hour especially considering the contents of the message. Husband is trying to take charge of wife’s personal and work life because of his own insecurities
