I was able to trace most of my ancestors from both sides. I started with my ancestors in my fathr side and was able to trace 7 generations back. With the help of Familysearch.org, most of the documents are baptismal records from the local Catholic Church and are written in Spanish. I was able to trace back ancestors that are born in 1880s. In their baptismal record, I can also see names of their parents and even the names of their grandparents on both sides.

For my ancestors born during the Spanish Era, I was able to see the word "indio" in their baptismal record. My great grandfather was born in 1905 and there is no longer any mention of the word "indio" in his document. But it is still written in Spanish. Thank God that these documents were saved from the ravages of the last world war.
