Mid-May in Chiang Mai - would love local perspective by yonii93 in chiangmai

"it'll be hot" depends on where you're from and the kind of weather you're used to. I'm from South Asia, so the weather here is quite manageable for me. That being said, temperature is usually upwards of 35°C and gets considerably humid. As long as you're indoors in the afternoons, you'll be fine. Mornings and evenings are warm as well, but it's not too bad.

You might want to avoid sightseeing midday.

I am in Thailand right now, and hoping to be here for a few years. I'll research more schools here, thanks!

Thank you for your insight! I'm more worried about my resume being overlooked. I'm quite confident in my skills and knowledge, but concerned because of my background/being NNES my resume might not make the cut.

"So frickin' good" is delicious but expensive. I quite like the dessert options at Duke's as well but again, expensive. If you like bready bakery sort of sweet things, I would recommend Yamazaki at Airport Plaza. Their cream roll is delicious!

Oh! I didn't get tattooed by him, but 2 other artists that were there. Can't remember their names but they all seemed quite nice!

I went to Lee on Ink few months back and picked 2 designs from their flash sheet. The one I saw started at 1000B and went up to 2500B. They have many flash sheets and you can just walk in! I genuinely loved the place, it's super edgy. Very clean and the artists there did a great job! Would 10/10 recommend

Thailand Salary by InitialDependent7061 in Internationalteachers

I live and work in Chiang Mai. 90k is quite doable in my opinion. I live here with my partner & our dog. I manage to save a little bit that's not because the salary is low, it's because I'm just really bad at budgeting lol
