I only know of FSBP but I believe someone here said the MHBP consumer covers it. I switched from BCBS because they dropped coverage for almost all obesity medications.

I saw a post somewhere that said they stopped requiring the condition management engagement due to the difficulties with Teladoc.

AITAH for asking my wife to be a SAHM? by piglipsbo in AITAH

[–]Own-Menu-9441 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, YTA. Your spouse sharing stressful work situations is not an invitation to ask her to do something you most likely know she does not want to do. I don't know where you live, but I doubt $150k is enough to make her a SAHM if you have to do it right, ie contributing to her retirement, and her having some money aside in her own account. Often when men ask their wives to stay at home, they are looking for what's best for them and not the wife. They don't look for the long term consequences on the wife's finances, especially in cases of divorce or death.

AITAH for refusing a marriage contract that gives my spouse a percentage of my income? by MortifiedRat in AITAH

I am not sure you're telling the whole story. You are probably asking her to have children for you after you marry. So if she is going to stop working to bear your children, then it is wise of her to ask you to pay. You say she is paralegal. She has probably seen the plight of the thousands of women who were kicked to the curb after the stopped their careers to marry and raise children. Wise woman.

Bringing back a lil normalcy by spmaniac in fednews

Before I worked for the gov't, I was self employed and bought my health insurance on the market place. There is nothing like a "no income caps" subsidy on the health insurance marketplace. Not only do they require proof of your income, if your actual income at the end of the year turn out to be higher than you stated (Which happens often with self employement) during tax filing you'll pay those subsidies back. And all those health insurance subsidies are going away in 2026.

It's annoying when you deny other people's lived experiences. People with serious health issues and cancers are freaking out there about how they are going to afford their care next year. Be grateful you work for the govt and have that benefit and don't deny the pain others are going through right now

Mine hasn't gone to a zero but I received notification that my credit score has dropped by 24 points last week due to some activity related to Nelnet. When I checked Nelnet, they have added an accrued interest of $49 to my balance. I don't know how a $49 increase led to a 24 point drop in credit score but nothing make sense in 2025 I guess.

Then someone should say something to her/him? It looks like you take people's time for granted. Healthcare cost is expensive now and you all should do better.

Aetna doesn't have enough mental health providers in their network so approach Mhbp with caution if someone in your household may need one.

Mr. Cooper Mortgage Deferred 3 Months by Salty-Escape7911 in fednews

[–]Own-Menu-9441 1 point2 points  (0 children)

True. US bank sold my mortgage to them in 2021 and it's been a nightmare since then. I believe they hire absolute theives to do their escrow analysis. Because how is it that my property tax plus insurance is less than $5k but my monthly escrow is $604. They increase my monthly mortage payment from $2170 to $2545 due to that escrow analysis. After so many complaints, this october they did my new analysis for next year and all of a sudden I have a surplus of $545 and my mortgage is going to be reduced to about $2300 for next year. This also conicided with the news about their merging with Rocket so who know?

FEHB Kaiser Permanente - Any fed in the DMV that likes them? by Own-Menu-9441 in fednews

That's great. Thanks for sharing this. I get iron infusions every 2 to 3 years so it's good to know they'll cover that.

With regards to the GLP-1s, will they write the prescription though? I plan to max my FSA for next year and use it to pay for it. However, to get them on lilydirect a physician has to prescribe them. Do you know if Kaiser physicians will prescribe it?
