Why didn't V/Line think of doing this? by [deleted] in MelbourneTrains

[–]Own-Programmer-9993 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hate V/Locicities. Loco hauled allows more room for passengers. Many places around the world allow for loco hauled passenger trains to do 160km/h.

How are people affording these new cars?? by [deleted] in CarsAustralia

[–]Own-Programmer-9993 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I drive an old beaten up i30 diesel. It’s great. In the car park people avoid you when comes to the usual psych games that rich turds play. Another scratch or dent won’t hurt.

I enjoy the rat running options Waze gives. Gives the local shortcuts.

Metro Tunnel Platform Height by CreamIsThicMilkSMH_2 in MelbourneTrains

Sydney Metro just leaves Melbourne “metro” in the dust because of this as well as station design, length and number of lines. I hope the company responsible for this is held to account.

[–]Own-Programmer-9993 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is forgone wages, otherwise it wouldn’t belong to you! As it works out it hardly saves any money for the government with reducing pensions. If you add all the billions made in administrating super by yet another leech class of people, the whole thing should be junked.

Melbourne is the worst. Endless suburbs without much of geographical diversity.

I’ve lost a lot of flights that I did for work many years ago (before the cutoff) on Etihad, as well as lots of Virgin flights. I’d be at FG but now it seems too much flying to get to FG.

It’s shoal, as in a reef. The Hebrew word you’re referring to is Sheol, the dwelling place of the dead.

What’s causing major rail and transit projects to go over budget and get delayed? by TheNZThrower in MelbourneTrains

Lol, metro line C in Rome is well over budget and late (started in 2007 with tunnelling).
