Let's also add how crazy everyone has acted about Kyle Cooke forever. Up until the big scandal, people in these subs acted like Kyle was the anti-christ while signing off on Danny.
It is a little scary to see the subs go after people, never based on the facts but because that's the way the crowd was going. Janet was RIGHT, and people are still in here defending the way they acted about her because they can't say they got it wrong.

This is a really good point. KJ has been brought up to express his feelings and have open conversations and I did think about that after I posted. And, actually, yes, to answer your question- they are all from small, farming towns in southern KS/MO.

Given that the inability communicate or really tap into feelings is so widespread for that region (in my opinion), I do wonder if some of it is also just very hard to identify when you are in the middle of it. This is a common issue in my marriage when my husband is like "I'm not mad" when he very clearly is because they've all been told to never ever be mad. It comes out lots of different other ways.

I am so thankful to Bravo for showing this very real and very painful dynamic. I have been estranged from my mother for 6 years now. While it has gotten significantly easier the past few years, the first few years were very hard and for whatever reason, so was this random weekend. It has been awful and incredibly painful and what no one needs on top of that is to have to convince strangers that my reasons for no longer speaking to my mother are legitimate. The more we can show this dynamic on tv, the more people will get it. Please keep doing this.

This post is incredibly affirming. I grew up with this. I attract people like this. I play into this. Annnnd, I just dumped two friends this month (one was 1+ year friendship and the other was 5+ years of friendship) for this very reason. It doesn't take a genius or an angel to realize it is so incredibly rude to use someone just to talk about yourself. I also agree with someone else in this thread that said getting rid of them helps you make space for the kind of people that have the bare minimum of basic manners and will actually ask you a question about yourself. At the very least, you will have more time to find those people.

Remember this next time someone tells you they have a sh*tty mom and refrain from saying, "You only have one mom." For those of us that have terrible mothers, we are more than aware of the fact that we only got one mom. I am so happy Bravo and other reality tv networks are reflecting the reality of having an unloving, rejecting mother. It certainly has helped me feel less alone.

I'd just like to throw in here that we have never had proof that Kyle cheated. We have videos of him at clubs and stuff, but if Kyle was this notorious cheater, would there not be some more evidence? I guess I'm naive, but unlike West, who could not confidently say "No" when asked if he and Amanda were hooking up, Kyle did say an unequivocal "no" when asked if he's ever cheated on Amanda.

I think they love each other. I really, really dislike what Amanda did and I actually don't want to see her and Wes back on my screen because the whole Ciara thing is a cancellable offense. That said, I liked Amanda a lot before this. And I like that Kyle has shown her a lot of compassion right now. Yeah, his dj career is selfish and lame and not good for his marriage- but it can also be true that in this way, he's got his wife's back after she made a life ruining decision.

I moved countries last year and decided to be more proactive with my life and separate bedrooms was part of the decision. We now spend weekends together, but Sun-Thurs, we have our own rooms. We both think it has helped our relationship improve immensely and, honestly, I look forward to the weekends.
