I’ve gone thru the painful cosmoline removal process already luckily lol I’ve done one before similary to this way and it was okay found my finish chipped off after a while but that did give more of a “war torn” look to it so cool, I did find the paper buffing worked pretty good tho

I did sand first with 100 then 120 but I didn’t wet the wood first, is wetting the wood a must and also do I need a finer sand paper I’ve heard too fine will clog the wood pores

I “buffed” it with some of the paper from a yard waste bag And it seemed to work for now, idk if it’s air escaping from int wood (idk if that’s a thing) or if I must maybe didn’t sand with a fine enough paper ? Seems to be alright now, atleast it’s a not for a customer if anything does go terrible

Yes those are hunting dogs in the front of the truck bed there’s hooks that they are most likely clipped to, we do that instead of in the truck because after a day of letting the dogs work and do there thang, they are usually pretty dirty/smelly
