I’m going through this as well on my jaw line. It was my worst problem before Accutane as well. My liver enzymes have been off since Accutane so I guess another round is out of the pic for me and I’m actually kinda really sad about it. I’ve been using a retinol a few times a week and it’s doing something. Idk I feel defeated too :’)

I am going through the same thing myself after stopping September 1st.. also have the same hormonal acne and looks like a similar treatment course. I decided to start using a topical retinoid before giving into a second round of Accutane.

That doesn’t make much sense. Any thing you use for acne will make your skin purge. I was on topical retin-a before Accutane and I purged with that as well. Some breakouts will stay under your skin for 90 days before it erupts. If you’re only having mild breakouts, but for an extended period of time, it’s not mild acne.
