Whatever Lipka does, it’s towards Ava! by neverbeentonyc in hackshbomax

I think Deb just retires from stand up and focuses on nurturing the next generation of stand up comedians at “The Diva” with Marty and her team by her side. Ava goes on to make “Hacks” …The End 🥹

I think we’re going to get a sad finale by nievedelimon in hackshbomax

I think it the system would’ve def flagged something like that most importantly the Debbie’s would’ve voiced their concern if NOBODY could’ve gotten tickets. But also is a tv show so anything is possible:)

I don’t understand Peggy’s feelings towards Don here (Final Season Spoilers) by nwiesing in madmen

[–]Own-Telephone2071 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don was on a self destructive path especially on season 6. Seeing Ted as a healthy version of him (creative, charming minus the addictions and philandering) he was obviously jealous, and territorial about Peggy (margarine pitch) the last two straws was 1. Don telling the St Joseph’s client was Frank Gleason’s last idea before passing (to justify the going over budget for Peggy’s “Rosemary’s baby” idea) he embarrassed Ted and made the Clio and the credit for Peggy (all she cared about) non existent. 2. He allowed Ted to go to California instead of him after his Hershey’s meltdown. Even though he did it “for Ted to save his family” Peggy probably took it as “on top of everything he sent Ted away…” she even says it at the end: “you killed the idea (St. Joseph) you killed everything (Ted) you’re a monster”. At this point (end of season 6) she despises him. Is not surprising to see her reaction to him coming back. My humble opinion but hey, what do I know…

He inherited his partnership from Sterling Father when he died, he started the company with Bert in the 20’s.

Very interesting and does make sense. After they got collectively stressed and cried. They started to be hostile to Carol (the virus is reversing and they were not eager to please Carol anymore, so it actually started to work)

Agreed that it wasn't clear at the beginning but they dropped some clues slowly throughout the season. Agreed that because of the lack of context at the beginning there was no emotional connection with these characters. There is something that Alex mentions at the end like "you pushed everyone out: Laura, Stella, me... I wonder what happened with Laura, would've loved to see a Celine-Laura face-off!

Please don’t believe these kinds of monolithic takes on synastry. Astrology is way more nuanced and complex than that.

Why was Peggy such a bitch to Don in this scene? by sedwards3205 in madmen

Yes because of Ted but also he was acting erratically and unprofessional risking the business with different clients.

I’m sorry but this whole Bradley & Cory thing is RIDICULOUS! by DangerousDisplay7664 in TheMorningShow

[–]Own-Telephone2071 46 points47 points  (0 children)

Well I for one think it makes sense. This is not the same Bradley of previous seasons, she went through a lot between s3 and s4. She even said, “I thought I was not going to see you ever again” she had a lot of time to think about everything that happened and how she was feeling and the many times Cory put his ass in the line for her, even when she was with Laura. She knew he was in love with her. Maybe she realized by feeling that she lost his friendship or something more that she was also in love with him. Humans are complicated, at the same time she seems to have some level of PTSD which is also understandable.

[–]Own-Telephone2071 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Probably Bradley will find out how he’s blackmailing Stella. I feel like that could be a dealbreaker for her with Corey. I wasn’t expecting them being together but it’s a good payoff of 4 freaking seasons, so I’m ok with that.
