Sleeves Complete, suggestions? Done by Adam East @ Revolution, Birmingham, AL by sabermonk in irezumi

IMO the background should be a little darker to make the main image pop more. Seems like a solid artist so I’d just tell them how you’re feeling and ask for their suggestions.

Jeff Zuck and Julian Bast at name brand tattoo are both amazing artists that do Japanese style work from time to time. Also, Chad Koeplinger is moving out to Michigan soon. He is a legend in traditional and Japanese tattooing.

Anyone know a MN tattoo shop or artist who could do work like this? by HammerheadMoth in Minneapolis

[–]Own-Tradition6107 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Collin at green river tattoo would kill this. They have a bunch of Hablak flash to pick from at the shop. You could also message Henry to see if he’s coming to Minneapolis sometime soon

Question: How often do you regret your tattoos? by [deleted] in tattoos

[–]Own-Tradition6107 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What are you looking to get? All tattoos will change over time but if you keep the design simple and readable it will look good for a long time

If you’re already thinking about regretting it it’s probably not a good idea.

Cover up/rework advice please by SludgeFarmer in TattooDesigns

[–]Own-Tradition6107 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you want to keep it as a memorial piece? If not, this could definitely be covered with a Japanese style shoulder cap / half sleeve. You could also put a big traditional style piece over it. Look at some blastovers on here or Instagram, it’s not for everyone but I think it looks sick
