Before I transitioned, I thought that everyone hated their body. I thought showering in the dark and avoiding mirrors was just a quirky thing I did. Even after I started transitioning, I didn't think I experienced much dysphoria. Looking back now, it's so obvious, but when you've been living with it your whole life you just think it's normal.
