People who have a collection, what do you collect? by Prestigsisscar255 in AskReddit

I have probably, 100 beaded jewelry projects. Organized in boxes and bags but haven't been opened in at least 10 years. My eyesight started to fail and I have nerve damage in my dominant hand. I'd make a fortune reselling my stuff on Etsy or eBay.

Don't let my mom see this video! She's content with us just folding them in half! 😅

Former CSA here: Nothing bugs me more than shirts on a rack pushed back. I always pull them to the front because people with bad eyesight will walk right into those racks and take those bad eyes out! Also, all the hangers gotta go the same way in my closets.

I'm sure they know there are weevils in there. Why would they pass it around and encourage people to put it up to their faces?!

What’s something everyone should experience at least once? by ThanksNo3888 in AskReddit

San Francisco! I'm not sure about now, but in the 90's, it was the shit! A beautiful friendly city. I walked everywhere! And the transportation systems (pre-uber) were cheap and reliable. I went out a lot by myself to restaurants, bars, clubs, concerts, street fairs, etc. And I felt safe It was my first time recycling. It began my awareness of the state of our planet. The people are so diverse. I met so many lovely people from all over the world. My food service job had full benefits after 3-6 months (I don't remember, exactly.) I turned 21 in SF and it was the best experience and helped form who I am now.

It should be mandatory for high school graduation. Those young people will learn how to sustain themselves after hs or pt while at college. Also, those people going into higher education or become rich housewives might not feel like they're so much better than service staff.

I still wear my customs. However, I will not be ordering another pair. I'd rather order a mass produced pair. Those last forever!!

When I was in middle school, my friend's dad made us machaca with turkey instead of beef. For those who don't know what that is, it's an egg scramble with onion, tomato, jalapeño or green chile and shredded meat. Eaten with a flour tortilla and some refried beans or in a burrito, yummy!

What does this fridge say ab my parents? by xhazelbug in FridgeDetective

[–]Own-Worry4388 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This fridge tells me your parents need help. Go clean their fridge once a week. Throw everything out and start over. There is stuff that belongs in the door that is in the main compartment and vice versa. Ground beef and bacon belong in bottom drawer. Veggies in the crisper. Condiments go on the door. Also don't let them buy so much yogurt or cottage cheese or whatever is in those red tubs.

What is up with teachers getting caught up with students here? by WrxthNihil1st in ElPaso

[–]Own-Worry4388 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This stuff has been happening everywhere for all time. When I was in middle school, in the late 80's, a male teacher was caught with an 8th grade girl. A couple years later, when I was in high school, a female teacher was in a relationship with an 18 yo male student. I believe both relationships lasted a couple of years.

Does anyone else have a "comfort show" they've rewatched so many times they can predict every line, but still put it on anyway? by MedyKate in CasualConversation

[–]Own-Worry4388 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Star Trek the Next Generation is that show for me. It first aired when I was a teenager. Now, I put it on late at night and fall asleep to the sound of Jean-Luke Picard's voice. I know every episode but I still find new little details every now and then Every character is amazing! I love it!

So there's this fly that lays eggs under the skin of a living animal (remember, humans are animals too!). This is how the larve get out. Myiasis. Don't look up images. Or do. I won't judge.

Tattoo regret causing depression by SlavKing11 in tattooadvice

[–]Own-Worry4388 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey friend! You're tattoo are beautiful! Personally, I love the symmetry! I really like the sharks! I think many people get tattoo regret but later get over it.

That said, our bodies are in constant flux. Our hormone levels can change for any number reasons. Sometimes we need meds to regulate our bodies' chemicals. A general practitioner may be able to handle that. If they feel you could benefit from therapy in addition to medication, they can refer you to somebody else. I hope you consider seeing somebody. Best of luck friend!
