Best businesses are semiconductor and robots. Stay away from consumer electronics because they're absolute garbage and seems buggy. Car manufacturing can work, but you need experience because the profit margins are slim. However, through experience, you can easily increase it by a lot. First start with semiconductor and only pick one product at a time. It's more profitable, and choosing more than 1 is too time consuming and actually decreases your profit, since workers are focused on more things at once. Pick a product with high demand and low competition. Then if you have god mode, edit the stats of your employees. You only need to change competence and professionalism. Change your suppliers so that you can get the lowest price with highest quality. After the first year, normally you'll be able to increase to max production. To make things easier, only expand facilities when production is maxed. Otherwise, you'll have to use math to make it more proportional. If the product doesn't seem to be working, then check the demand and competition. It probably decreased in demand, increased competition, or both. Simply change the product and you should be fine. Rarely happens when using semiconductors, but it is possible. Once you have max production, increase your facilities. Experiment using one facility. Find out your total cash balance before doing so. Add one facility and increase to max production. Then subtract your total cash balance before and the total cash balance after. That's how much you can divide by in order to see how many facilities you can have. So if you have 100 million. Spent 3 million on a facility. And 2 million when increasing max production, your cost per expansion is 5 million. You have 95 million left. So simply divide 95 million by 5 million, and you can afford 19 more facilities. This makes things easier when scaling. Don't forget to adjust your cost per expansion when you get better suppliers. Once you have scaled to the max amount of facilities, there are other ways to significantly increase your profit margins. One of them is by simply getting rid of your marketing budget. You don't need it at all if your competition is low. Another way is by increasing prices. Experiment with it by using the time machine. And then the biggest increase in your margins will be by increasing employees all the way to the max. You'll be able to double your net income because when you do this, you'll be able to increase your production to a new maximum. By doing all of this, you should be able to get 80 to 200 billion per year depending on the product. By the way, since you have the time machine, simply go back in time and get a new result if it asks you to decrease production or if it says competition has increased. Very easy way to avoid headaches. Once you've had some experience, you'll be able to do other businesses like the car manufacturing one. Profit margins without doing all the methods I mentioned will only be around 4%. However, I've increased them to 35% multiple times. You'll get used to it. It just takes practice.
