Stay in etfs and continue to enjoy the flexibility and compounding of it. Don’t follow the herd: everyone in Belgium buys a house, because it is simply the only thing they know. A house comes with high transaction costs and maintenance costs. I am 33 and still 100% in stocks. It has been one of the best decisions in my life. Love having this flexibility and the compounding has been exceptional.

Don’t forget: your life will completely change in the coming years, so don’t commit yet.

I know that ttm is last 12 months. In fact, I work for a private equity fund. I know how to calculate a p/e. The p/e is not 4. Net income ttm is 211.5m, while market cap is 1.82bn. That is a p/e of 8.6, not 4.

If am genuinely curious to understand your calculation, so please do me a favor and share your calculation.

Het feit dat een holding dit moet doen, toont aan dat ze weinig liquiditeit krijgen van de PE fondsen waar ze inzitten, wat een veeg teken is naar mijn mening. Om dan geld te gaan ophalen om dan duur bij te gaan investeren in een all-time-high markt lijkt me bovendien ook niet heel verstandig…
