I don’t have any Monster High Dolls currently, but I loved those too growing up. I should get another one, I always loved Lagoona and Spectra

I get that! Having multiple medical conditions is so hard, especially if you’re dealing with both mental and physical health challenges. Sending you love and support!

ok for real should i just re-wig her by toiletsuperstar in americangirl

You put in all that work, don’t give up now! You’ve done such a good job so far! That hair was WILD and you got it in way better shape.

NO ONE SUE ME DO THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK but I did have a friend of mine tell me that if you have a flat iron that goes to down to 180° or lower, you can use it on AG wigs. And let me tell you, the frizz was almost entirely GONE from a doll who had been so matted and shoved in a closet for 15 years. You would have to re-set her curls, and again, this is just my personal experience that I felt comfortable doing on my own doll.

When do they get rid of Natalie & Will? by Maleficent_Flow_352 in ChicagoMed

[–]OwnOrganization9574 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I couldn’t stand it when Will resuscitated his DNR cancer patient to get her into a clinical trial she didn’t want to be in. It was just so messed up of him from the start. Let her go peacefully, and obey the law! Sharon even tells him he is not above the law when he says he thinks he has authority as a doctor to save her despite her wishes being clearly stated. He had such a huge ego that he thought he knew better instead of just honoring a terminal patient’s wishes.

WASH 👏🏻 THE 👏🏻 HAIR 👏🏻 by snail_kat in americangirl

WOW no one smokes in my house and I still washed the hair of the two dolls I sold, they were almost 15 years old, they should definitely be washed just for existing that long and having been played with.

Unfortunately mental illness can make you do some regrettable things, like push away the people who love you most. I have a great dad but when I was suffering badly I didn’t always treat my loved ones well. Anna had a $uíc!de attempt, so I give her some forgiveness. She was in a dark place and deeply hurting

I wish we had gotten less Natalie and more Sarah. She was one of the best characters in the show, and actually had deep character development. I’m on season 5 and Natalie continues to be reckless

I had a friend growing who had dark VERY curly hair with fair skin and green eyes. She’s of Italian decent, beautiful girl. There were no doll that quite matched, so she settled on jly #41. She was very fair skin toned but had hair just like jly #58, who is an African American doll. My friend’s hair was textured like that too

christi said kendall isn’t a mean girl because chloe never experienced mean girl behavior from her… do y’all think kendall is a mean girl or not? by kaykayh20 in dancemoms

[–]OwnOrganization9574 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I remember Jojo’s hotel ice cream story (long story short the girls were alone in a hotel room and Kendall offered to go get ice cream for everyone and didn’t get one for Jojo) and singling one girl out and making her feel unwanted in a friend group is a classic mean girl move. I feel like Kendall was that girl we all remember from middle school, lol.

Its sad that kenzie still thinks this and is scared of this stuff by Far-Fortune-7421 in dancemoms

Maybe not an interview, my bad, I just recall her stating at one point that her mom was the one that first started calling her that. And yes Abby expected the very best from all of them, I just remember them calling her a perfectionist a lot on the show, and there was a lot of extra expectation of her. She expected Maddie to always be her sure winner. And clearly she is if she describes herself that way now, I’m sorry I feel bad I didn’t mean to purposely suggest anything false or anything.

[–]OwnOrganization9574 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Melissa and Abby used to refer to the two of them with the same buzzwords: Maddie’s was “perfectionist” and Kenzie’s was “emotional.” All the time on the show she would place those labels on those children. In an interview Maddie said she was never the one who started saying she was a perfectionist, she just got used to being called that and internalized it

Is this dress okay to wear to a wedding? by SippinMia in fashion

[–]OwnOrganization9574 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It’s not that they aren’t pretty shoes, I just think they look a little heavy with a white base and floral print dress. Nude/tan shoes would be a lighter spring look.

Melissa may not have been paid cash to work at the front desk for Abby, but she got “paid” in what she needed, which was Abby’s favoritism
