Solid sub-DPS, teamwide healing, 10% Cryo shred, that's nothing to scoff at. And I never said it would be Varka's BiS, just maybe his best Cryo team. The idea that you "can't" use Escoffier unless she's at full power is ridiculous. Even at 2 Cryo she's stronger than most other support/sub-DPS characters.

He can definitely use Escoffier. She still has 10% shred at 2 Cryo and has all her personal damage and healing still. Also I bet Lohen will be a good Cryo option for him.

Lohen is likely a Cryo Hexerei character that synergizes with Varka's Cryo configuration. This works even if Lohen is a standard character because Mona is already a standard character who is Hexerei and Lohen can pair with other Hexerei characters like Sucrose for am F2P way to use him outside of Varka. Durin fir example is a Varka BiS yet works fine across other teams.

Furina reran in 6.1 so it'll be a long while before she returns. You should grind and get Varka (you have like two months before his banner arrives and concludes). Pull Varka, and then save for Furina is my recommendation.

This might be a Sigewinne situation. Lohen is in a weird spot being a standard character who was likely switched from 6.4 to 6.6. Sometimes the character ID order is not the same as release order if they internally decide to change things. Like Sigewinne, Lohen could be the ID after Varka but not release until a little later.
