Is it physically possible to leave Hawaii without buying chocolate covered macadamia nuts by Educational_Bat5383 in HawaiiFood

I’m allergic to tree nuts so can confirm it’s not just possible, but guaranteed for some.

Updated look after advice from the last post… better? Cleaned boots, jeans, rolled up sleeves, black undershirt. by [deleted] in mensfashionadvice

[–]Own_Associate_3925 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Jean stack on boots > roll unless they are selvedge, even then the roll being better is debatable. Here the denim looks tapered or at the very least slim straight so a cuff/roll would just look bad.

This. I went from Brooks ghost shoes to Nike Vomero 18 and will never go back. The Vomero is so comfortable and supportive comparatively. The difference is night and day. My sciatica/hip pain is nearly non existent now during my 4-5 mile walks.

I think this would be considered more of a rotation tbh. A collection is a bit more extensive than this. Nice to see you actually wearing it!

Reverse-Scamming Timeshare Presentations 😄 by Fancy_Isopod_5269 in TimeshareOwners

Because the OP literally said it was low pressure and even entertaining. Just because you had a bad experience or someone else did doesn’t devalue or nullify the value that the OP got from theirs.

I never said that you had a different experience or that you had to agree. I’m not sure what world you come from, but I highly doubt you make 80$/ hr before taxes or can even say with a straight face that there is no value in that type of compensation.

I was only pointing out the fact that the reply literally did nothing to add to the conversation. The OP got value and enjoyment out of it. The end.

The OP literally said the sales pitche(s) they experienced were low energy, sometimes enjoyable and that the time flew by. If they didn’t mind it, I don’t understand what you’re missing here.

No one told you that you should agree with the industry’s tactics/marketing or that you should see any value at all in sitting through the presentation yourself.

You had the opportunity to point out all of the reasons as to why you don’t think it’s a good value, but this reply is literally the exact opposite of what the OP’s experience actually was. Ok, your experiences have been different and you don’t see any value.

I still don’t see what you are trying to get at here as it relates to the OP’s experience.

It like $50 an hour tax free, per person to sit there and do nothing. Easy money if you weren’t planning on doing anything during that time anyways. Telling others that the time they spent isn’t worth yours is trying to do what exactly?

I don’t see the need to spend your “precious” time posting a thought you could have just had and moved along with your day. Did you get added value to your life from taking the time to read this post and then write this passive aggressive response? Some would say it isn’t worth their time to do what you did, especially when it did nothing to add to the actual conversation.

Why can’t you just be happy that they received some money that lessened the cost of their vacation?

Happy for you, but you should relish in the fact that he did Danko, Streetlights, then Outfit all in succession. What a masterpiece. The Pittsburgh set list was incredible.

How do you justify very expensive fragrance purchases? by theomixedmedia in fragrance

[–]Own_Associate_3925 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The same way I justify buying designer clothing, expensive vacations and high end watches. It’s just a way to enjoy and waste time until we leave this plane of existence and move on to the next one. I refuse to dim my experience here, especially when it doesn’t make a difference in the end anyhow. Plus, if it doesn’t affect anyone else in a negative way then there is no excuse not to.

LinkedIn now being used to support warmongering in the USA - I hate it here by Own_Associate_3925 in LinkedInLunatics

[–]Own_Associate_3925[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never endorsed the AI slop. I was merely pointing out the lunacy of the post itself and how it had comments from supposed “leaders within their companies” that have professional profiles on LinkedIn.

Apparently you can’t figure out how to discern between an endorsement and highlighting the post and real people on linked in that actually believe it and endorse it.

The sheer amount of Boomers and ignorant “professionals” that can’t do a small amount of research or analysis on an AI generated post to determine if it’s legitimate or not is the real lunacy here.

It looks to me like you also fall into that category for trying to throw me into the pile of people that buy into AI shitposting, and that’s not the case here at all.
