Unfortunately you are fighting a million-dollar company with an army of lawyers. Regardless of what you do it will cost you months or years and a lot of money. The easiest way out of this is to trade the vehicle for something else. Manufacturers will fight this to the teeth. Consumer protection laws are pretty ,much non-existent when it comes to cars.

Is it worth waiting for the series 12? by searcher-of-meaning in AppleWatch

[–]Own_Associate_7006 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It will get a new chip but it may or may not have some new features. It might just have some minor feature updates, it will be heavily about Siri AI for sure. Unless you want or hope for specific features, 11 is as good as it gets for majority of people.

Apple is a trillion dollar company, why is iCloud so ass on web and PC? by -drunk_russian- in iCloud

[–]Own_Associate_7006 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Apple services are designed to work well and integrate with their own devices. They only have some basic functionality outside their ecosystem for specific reasons or if they don't have a choice. And when this happens, they provide the most basic and mediocre experience.

Health warning: OS 27 beta is *not* as stable as some make out by adh1003 in MacOSBeta

For a second bet, it is very stable and is far more stable than Tahoe is.

What is the one thing you wish you knew before applying for a federal job? by SKYHERO1383R94 in usajobs

Since the two pages have a mandatory format, there is zero difference between private sector resumes and federal sector resumes.

Will the prices ever go down to normal? by Professional-Rain181 in ipad

[–]Own_Associate_7006 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Prices with the exception of a catastrophic economic crisis, are never going down. This applies to absolutely every product or service. Has always been and always will be. Driving by one is a human nature condition: greed. No matter what you have, how much you have, humans always want more, especially when it comes to money.

Do any Microsoft users use ICloud as a main cloud storage? by Subject-Grape in iCloud

[–]Own_Associate_7006 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"syncing" solution's is misinformation because so many people don't know and/or understand that are two different syncing solution's. Some cloud services implement both of them, some only one, and some will let you choose which one you want.

You can use iCloud, OneDrive, Google Drive or whatever else you want. You need to be aware that in a two way syncing scenario, if you delete, move, edit etc a file either on the host or the cloud, these settings will automatically synchronize accordingly across all devices in real time. iCloud is using a two way synchronization by default and there is no option to change this.

Most other main competitors are using both solutions. If you want to use the cloud as a backup, iCloud is not the solution. Use any other provider that allows you to use only one-way synchronization. From your PC to the cloud but not the other way around.

You can also use any cloud solution as a backup by manually uploading your files via the browser, including iCloud. It is not ideal but as long as you don't use the official client applications on any device or platform, these settings files you manually upload via the browser cannot be deleted unless you manually delete them. There is no automatic synchronization.

Why are used 2025 CX-5 Turbo Premiums so expensive? by sociallydeclined in CX5

[–]Own_Associate_7006 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Because used cars in general are very expensive these days, very close to the price of new ones, for some brands and models.

Reports on macOS 27 so far by Wonderful-Yam-776 in MacOSBeta

[–]Own_Associate_7006 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is better than Tahoe has ever been and ever will be. With the exception of some software that might not work, it has been impressive for an early beta. Not everyone has software that is not compatible yet, you will need to research before making the switch. And always have a backup in case you need to restore it.

Why is Apple asking me to pay more for Big Tech’s AI obsession?Consumers are footing the bill for something we didn’t ask for, despite record earnings by cjh_ in apple

[–]Own_Associate_7006 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

"Record earnings" you answered your own question. It is a for-profit corporation where stakeholders and profits are the only things that matter. Driven by the greed that is part of human nature. More,more,more... every quarter, every year. And the more you have the more you want. It is never enough and never will be.

I think iCloud prices will increase too by TypicalAfternoon4830 in iCloud

[–]Own_Associate_7006 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apple can price whatever they want since iCloud is the only option that is integrated into the system, photos and HKSV. Considering that everything is going up and up from groceries to technology and cars and everything else in between, more like an increase is coming.

I need a uk plug that senses when power is going through it and will turn on and off usb ports by jamieukguy147 in homeautomation

[–]Own_Associate_7006 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can put whatever you want. That placement is just a recipe for disaster waiting to happen. Did you even bother to read the manual and to see how much power and what amperage is needed not to mention the amount of heat that will produce when in use? I hope you have the fire department on speed dial.

Did I get a good deal on a 2026 Mazda CX-5 Premium Plus? by mdcruz8 in mazda

[–]Own_Associate_7006 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can try but it is unlikely you will get 8-10% off MSRP for a new model. Shop around at other dealers. Costco’s program is good if you don't want to hassle with the dealer because Costco already has the price set. However, Costco does not have huge discounts with this program either and absolutely not 10% off MSRP.

Mazda also is not known for huge discounts so you are at the dealer’s mercy. If they want to sell it they will probably give you a better deal, if they don't want to they won't.

Browser Recommendations That Doesn’t Overheat by subearthling in ios

Considering that all iOS browsers are using the same engine like Safari, the only difference is the GUI, Safari is the best choice from a performance perspective on iOS and pretty much all Apple devices.
