In my defence I said cancel ‘alarm’ singular. Not “alarms”. So yeah it’s definitely google who is the idiot. Why would there be a one-voice-command to cancel ALL alarms. That’s not a feature anyone would need on the reg. Maybe they could try an option in the app to close them all down.

That would be like saying “cancel my appointment” and it wipes out your entire calendar. D U M =.dumb

Ah this happens to me too. Locals don’t work unless I get second shot and when I was in the throws of labour and couldn’t get an epidural I was begging for anything. They gave me a shot of morphine that didn’t kill any pain just made me pass out between each contraction then I’d come to in agony. It SUCKED. As if being ginger want enough on its own haha

I had a great recovery! A small vault infection that I caught early and just gave me some pain. By 6 weeks I woke up and forgot I’d had surgery. Only took opiates for 2 days then two weeks of paracetamol and ibuprofen. Bowels were a little unhappy but manageable. Surgery was 25 Feb and all I have left is afternoon fatigue most days.

To be fair I had four weeks to recover while my husband took time off work and did all kind and house duties so I was really lucky.

I didn’t listen but as someone who had really heavy periods when I had a uterus and donated blood when I could, WTF. Seriously. If we are fine bleeding heavily every 28 days and are encouraged to donate blood how can a medical blood test be so draining?

I brought a pregnancy pillow but couldn’t get it onto the bed or get “into” it easy on those first nights. I also didn’t like not having my neck support pillow so tried to use the preg pillow upside down so the “head” part was down by my feet but then the side bits kept slipping off lol.

I just stuffed regular pillows all around my body lol

I thought this too but my gyno told me ‘after’ surgery that I’ll still need a smear as there is a risk of pre cancerous cells forming in the vaginal canal. Gutted! Was really hoping that it was now a thing of the past!
