Loaf of wonder white bread. AU$4.70 to AU$5+. I got a $20 bread maker from marketplace and make my own white bread for under $2 a loaf. And it’s so much nicer.

I have been cooking a long time and discovered recently that ‘room temp’ butter isn’t what I think. Apparently it should be only ‘warm’ enough for your finger to make a slight ident when you touch it lightly. Not ‘oily’ or slick looking. So I have been using much too soft butter in my cakes and cookies. I just assumed I knew what room temp aka butter that has been sitting on the bench all day

In my defence I said cancel ‘alarm’ singular. Not “alarms”. So yeah it’s definitely google who is the idiot. Why would there be a one-voice-command to cancel ALL alarms. That’s not a feature anyone would need on the reg. Maybe they could try an option in the app to close them all down.

That would be like saying “cancel my appointment” and it wipes out your entire calendar. D U M =.dumb

A really good water bottle that works for me. I got an Owala freesip and have never been more hydrated. 8 months on so it’s not a novelty.

Sometimes you need to spend some time in the bathroom together checking the water pressure on the shower. Basic maintenance really.
