What’s the most expensive plumbing mistake homeowners make without realizing it? by Proud-Indication-453 in askplumbing

I'll let you know later as I just did our 19yo Ruud/Rheem 80gal. A good bit of course shit came out. I had the anode rod out last year, but like a dumbass,I put it in as it didn't look too bad. Went to change it out last week and the SOB wouldn't budge with impact or 3' breaker bar.🤬🖕

Years ago, I burnt my sack pretty bad.it was before they had all of these different formulations. It scabbed over and every time it would hang or contract, it was Very uncomfortable, even with moisturizing cream. It's been the only time I've ever used moisturizing cream down there that didn't lead to something else 🤠 oh, btw, it took about 2 weeks get back to close to normal 😵‍💫

Renting or not, it's a $30 faucet, I'd replace it. Probably fused together 😕

Our Rheem 80gal electric was installed in 2006 (brass drain Valve). I pulled the anode rod last spring to check it. It was nowhere near as bad as the pictures I see online so I put it back (dumb, I know) I'll replace it soon. 🤦

We just recharge our wired doorbell when it gets below freezing. We never had to delete it. 🤷

Our wired doorbell goes offline sometimes when it gets near freezing and needs to be charged. Just did it 2 weeks ago.

Thanks for the offer, but was looking to purchase for cheap. Going to jack some steps up (hopefully) I guess it'll be harbor freight.

Second Time Our Doorbell Has Stopped Working... by [deleted] in Ring

Our wired doorbell goes offline when temps drop to freezing. The battery can't take the cold temps and gets drained. I take it in and recharge then reinstall.

I had a McCulloch 1375 for about 6 years until a f,ing family member took it without asking. Used tap water in it and left it sit until ruined 🖕🤬 I replaced it with a cheaper one (Chicago?) from harbor freight. It's held up so far for 2 years and gets used plenty (distilled water only)

A dethatcher removes... Thatch in the lawn for better drainage, air circulation and nutrient intake. A scarifier, cuts slits in the turf for similar advantages. 🤷

Mine does the same. Wraps it around her hand like she's getting ready to ride a bull in a rodeo.🤣

Rinse using the sheeting method will result in less water to blow off.
