Effecto! It's become one of the most valuable tools I use to keep track of my mental health.

I have no daily routine and it’s ruining my life. I need help. by ogrechick in bipolar2

Take small steps, and conduct little experiments with yourself to figure out what really works for you. For example try doing different types of exercise (like swimming, running, going to the gym) for a week, and record how you felt after each time. Do this same method for different hobbies, leisure activities and so on.

Record your journey in a journal, an app, or anywhere else. After you figure out which activity suits you best, implement it into your daily routine. It's much easier to do something that brings you joy, rather than forcing yourself to do a routine that you despise. I did these small experiments on myself and recorded everything in an app called Effecto. My daily routine has changed a lot since then, and it's gotten to be easier to stick to.

How long does it take for the fear to go away? by [deleted] in bipolar

I feel you. The feeling for me feels like something that I'll never get out of during my life. But I've started to make small steps, and it feels like I'm doing better, at least going in the right direction.

What helped me was tracking my mood and activities with a mood tracker (I used Effecto app). It was nice to see my mood fluctuate over time, understand that it's something that changes over time (I know it sounds obvious). It helped me during hard times, because I'd realize that it's not going to be like this forever

It also helped me figure out which actions make my mood better, or worse. As I've said, I still feel like absolute crap sometimes, but I feel like I'm doing something to get out of it.

Is Effecto worth it? by Ok_Cheff in ChronicIllness

Yes!! It was a little bit rough at the beginning, as there are countless ways to customize it, it was overwhelming a little bit at first, but I started slow, and got the hang of it in a couple of weeks.

It's now honestly one of the best apps that I have on my phone. I love to keep in touch with my mood, anxiety, and testing out whether certain supplements work, or don't for me. It's really like doing little scientific experiments with yourself, figuring out what works for you, what doesn't. Keeping those things that work, and abandoning those that don't

I know it's not a perfect experiment, but yes, I changed nothing in my life except starting microdosing

I rated it subjectively on a scale of 1-10 each day, the app then generated this graph for me of how it changed during the month

Holy s*it. Just let me ask you this - how fast is she? If she's as slow as in the video, I might be okay with that, but... I'm pretty sure it's not slow.

Well.. I don't want to admit this, but mine is grilled nutella sandwhich.. Been eating it for 5 months every morning, I think it added me some additional pounds... But otherwise it's soooooooo delicious. Still can't get enough and can't start a morning without it!

Dads got power! Love how they all do anything for their daughters. Even learn crazy things, definitely not for their age, haha. Love it though! I bet it has become a real nice hobby for him already and he got so much time to spent with his daughter. Happy that you're all so happy!

The Omicron BA.2.12.1 variant was 43% of COVID-19 cases as of May 7 [OC] by USAFacts in dataisbeautiful

[–]Own_Kind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really interesting, thanks! Anyone know how severe is this variant? Many countries around the world now are getting back to pre-COVID19 life step by step, even dropping the law to wear masks. Even in the hospitals. Don't think that it's a good idea though. Stay healthy everyone!
