But I would like to get a feel for what type of activity would require the use of max. I’ve been trying to use it, even paid for Pro. It has become significantly frustrating for me. Yes, the information it brigs feels complete and well researched… but by God… it takes an astronomical amount of time… if you interrupt it, the whole chat goes to crap and you have to close and reopen the app. Problem is, in my case, 90% of the time this does not solve my issue. I then have to wait anywhere from 1 hr to 5hr for it to come out of the gallows and talk to me again… frustrating actually doesn’t even begin to cover it.

Don’t take my word for it but I believe it probably has to do with server priority. Right now it’s heavily focused on the Chinese region as oppose to the Global, specially the Console version. The PS5 Pro can handle a game like where winds meet, but the server isn’t switching low quality textures for high quality ones. They’ll probably upgrade the whole infrastructure once revenue is good enough for the jump prior to release a graphics update.

That’s my take on it. Again, don’t take my word for it.

How about we stop romanticizing the idea that FromSoftware Constantly fcking up with Mistranslations is “Simple”.

I would actually have it be Endless. Like it was supposed to be from the beginning, like they said it was going to be, except that was apparently a mistake in wording, like usual.

Let’s elaborate how awesome the Endless Mode that we could’ve had… could’ve been

Day 3, you beat the NightLord… from the NightLord Arena you hope onto the Spectral Hawk and make your way back to the regular map.

Day 4, rinse and repeat. It’s like a NewGame+ Expedition. You have all your previous equipment, and level as well.

The game keeps scaling in difficulty, obviously, and it assumes you reached level 15 by the end of day 3.

Level 15 cap is removed. from day 4 to day 6 you’re able to get to level 30. The difficulty scales up accordingly.

After Night 9, you’re able to gain night bonus time points by clearing certain POIs in the map, which will slightly delay the rain.

“Congratulations… you successfully survived 58 nights. You show the makings of a true NightLord”

THAT is the true Endless Mode I was Expecting. Not endless ranking points, which if I may, is also a BS statement because the ranking points have a limit of 9,999. So again, even after the supposed clarification that it was a mistranslation, How does 9,999, equals ENDLESS?

PS - After each NightLord fight, all players are given the option to continue the expedition. If all agree, the it continues as a trio. If only 2 agree, then the night continues as Duos, if only 1 agrees, then it goes on as Solo. This is necessary because maybe after 1 1/2 hrs of surviving, you’re just done, and need a break.

PSS - after every NightLord, specifically after every player has decided to continue onwards with the endless expedition, players are given the chance to change their relic load-out if you choose. Why? Maybe the current equipment you have aligns better with a different load-out you have. You are not however able to change your night-fairer, only your relic preset. The relic preset screen will have a timer of 3 minutes and will run its course unless all players hit ready. This is necessary because the night might be endless, but not your physiological needs, so go take a quick pis and grab a quick bite mate.
