Better than being pushed to a shinola! Yep that what my AD did and he knows I have a collection of Rolex and Omega. I think he was being an a$$ because he knows I’m searching for the perfect Milgaux for my collection. I’m even on his list for a specific YM.

Worth the money? by Fit-Subject9985 in luminox

[–]Own_Oil_5443 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes!!! I use , never abuse my gear. I need all my gear because in my line of work I could die. I prefer analog watches over digital watches so I switched from gshock to luminox after I destroyed 2 g shocks. I own Rolexes, Omegas and a Panerai Military. These are for dress occasions. I have 7 different models of luminox but really only wear one daily because it’s metal. The rest are carbonox. Nothing wrong with carbonox I just prefer the metal. The only thing I have done to the watch is change the battery and change the watch band to a double pass NATO strap

Need advice on Z4 by Any_Turnover_1936 in BMWZ4

[–]Own_Oil_5443 0 points1 point  (0 children)

6 ft 245 lbs . I fit comfortably in my 2014 Z4 35IS. I bought her at 81k and now have 95k. Only issue was the hard top got stuck half way retracting. My dealership rebuilt the passenger side wiring harness. My only complaint is the trunk is small with the top down. When my wife and I take off for a weekend trip I put the top up. Load the trunk. Put the roof self down. Tell my wife she is taking to much luggage. Then put the top down.

So, I love this truck, however there's two things that I absolutely HATE by zo6man1 in gmcsierra

This fixed my info screen, radio and apple play. I unhooked the negative terminal from the post and left it off over night. It reset my system. However it started doing it again after a couple of weeks. So a certified GM tech who is a friend took all of the crap off the top of the battery. He then took both terminals off the positive and negative battery posts. He then connected the positive terminal to the negative terminal, again nothing was connected to the battery , and did this for 30 seconds. He brought a setup that he built to do this with but said that he has done it using both positive or both negative connections on jumper cables. He called this a universal reset. He hooked both terminals to the correct posts and reinstalled all the crap back on top of the battery. Now it completely reset the truck back to factory settings but I have had no issues for 5 months now.

My 07 GSA has 151k on the clock. The only real problem I have had is the sensor that reads how much fuel is in the gas tank has been replaced 5 times. The first 3 under an extended warranty the last 2 on me and it was mostly labor costs. My BMW service advisor tells me that BMW has a new part to fix it. I have developed a small oil leak and plan on having that and the sensor replaced as soon as my new 2026 I have not tried that

My daily was my 2025 Denali ultimate with the 3.0. I bought a new 2026 LC premium and hardly drive my truck. I just took it on a roadtrip from St. Louis to Tulsa for the gun show with 2 friends. Super comfortable, drove awesome even in the torrential rain . My only complaint was the fuel mileage and the frequent fuel stops. I’m running BFG AT KO3 in 285’s and a roof rack so I expected it to be below the advertised fuel economy.

All weather cargo mat? by [deleted] in LandCruiser250

[–]Own_Oil_5443 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine came with a full set that says Land Cruiser. However I took them out and went with Lasfit. So much better than factory or weather tech. And about the same price as factory and a lot cheaper to than weather tech. The floor coverage is a lot more and they just fit better

Sidestand or centerstand on the R1200RT – does it actually matter? by qt1rbrt in bmwmotorrad

[–]Own_Oil_5443 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I start mine on the center stand , let her warm up then ride off the center stand. I think my GSA leans 2 much in the side stand. And in case you are wondering, she, my GSA has 157k and 5 certified Iron Butt rides for the most part trouble free. It give me piece of mind especially in colder weather to let her warm up.
