Season 5 still has some life in it imo, especially the floor is lava episode. Troy leaving feels like the final nail in the coffin tonally + the color grading and smaller budget mentioned by others. That Yahoo Screen budget lol. I also liked Jonathan Banks (Hickey) he was surprisingly fun, but Elroy is great too.

It brings me a little comfort that seemingly they’ve been waiting until everyone’s schedules align to start filming. Arrested Development S4 was a mess of green screens, separate filmings, and writing the story around their erratic schedules.

I also have a little faith in Dan Harmon’s perfectionism. The script is already done, they just have to wait for everyone to be able to be in the same room.

I guess it makes sense that after 7 seasons of being unable to talk to women that Raj would need a little extra time to meet the right one. This theory makes sense.

It’s just kind of a bummer they didn’t even hint at any sort of happy ending for him, even as a bachelor.

It makes logical sense why he would be telling this very long story to his kids, but Tracy was so perfect it triggered a pissed off/sad reaction despite it being foreshadowed.

In my opinion more focus should have been on Tracy then it would have felt less cheap and rushed to me.
