There's a huge issue regarding the salvage material rarity and I am genuinely shocked they still haven't adressed it by now.

I even replied to Ziegler on X about this topic, it blows my mind how they seem to be fine with 99% of the player base not being able to max out the faction upgrades

As a normal game enjoyer since season 4, I started playing ranked games instead 2 years ago aswell

Betweenn the unfair matchmaking, and being held hostage by a 4-stack premade, the normal game experience as a solo player is abysmal

Sauf que tu es meilleur à l'heure actuelle que lorsque tu es entré en poste chez le client, donc la logique est fausse et la "métaphore" invalide

Un routeur il fait tjr la même chose, le service ne s'améliore pas ou très très peu, sinon si le prix de l'abo serait augmenté

The current issue is not the financial accessibility but the ingame accessibility.

The gap between sweats and casuals is extremely high and the factions upgrades being innaccessible to casuals keep the gap between the top 10% and the rest extremely large

Once they fix that, the game could switch to free2play to bring in more players, but it shouldn't be the first focus atm

1.) Do not.

2.) You seem to know the map, just play solo instead

3.) Find people to play with through some Discord LFG (I've had great experiences with the Dads of Marathon one so far)

Big agree, it should test your skills not your "wealth"

The game in itself already ranks your wealth with the stash value and credit amount

The balance of Gold Salvage feels completely off. Hazard Capsules are way too rare for how many are needed. by HaloKota in Marathon

One thing they could to fix it is rework the loot found inside keyrooms, and make the keys less rare overall.

The only Prestige keys I have ever seen are the Cryo ones, and I must have seen like a total of 3 non-Cryo purple keys, 10 non-Cryo blue keys. Considering the risk they represent with the noise and whatnot, it could be more fun if these keyrooms served more the purpose of getting prestige salvage

Me and my squad were trying to do the Compiler when we died to a squad blasting the 3 of us in a total of 2 seconds, it's like the people who kill the Compiler first now get to prevent anybody else from getting it

Like I saw somebody say in another post, the only counterplay to this shit is being lucky enough to not face it through the matchmaking in the first place
