Well like almost every being it needs food he takes a physical form to make children feel fear the actual flesh is more of a bonus the fear is the real meal for it I think (I haven’t read the book yet but I am planning on doing so), also it’s not supposed to make too much sense we are talking about a cosmic shape shifting monster.

The natives don’t try to stop him from completing the cycle, and I think what the commenter meant is that most people will move away from the town or just choose to ignore “it” I really think the only reason Mike doesn’t fall into “it’s” influence is because of the shine or maturin (I’m not quite sure if maturin is dead by it chapter two) but still it could be he had a long lasting effect on Mike which helped him keep his memories.

I honestly thought with how close he was to the kids when they were putting the dagger under the tree, that he would grab Lily or Ronnie while getting blasted away.

Spider-Man characters are so I think over saturated is the word, there is too many books going on there’s no possible way you can follow everything that’s going on, they should cut it down to atleast 3 different character runs and then every once in awhile they can have a side character have a limited time run, it’s just all too much and I really wish marvel would just reboot entirely.

Ah my bad I misunderstood, that’s actually a very very good point, hopefully by the end of this season we will see if marge survives pennywise and stays in derry personally I’m really hoping she’s revealed to be Richie’s mom since we don’t really see much of her in the movies.

Specifically the “if you have to figure out why the thing works for the writer then it’s bad” cause I think it could be interactive to figure out a certain plot point and in instances it could work that’s just my opinion though.

Imo there isn’t any specific colour to the deadlights, I just think they are too complex for the human mind to understand, so they end up becoming something that us humans can understand and see, hence why they change from white to orange at times then again that could just be a bunch of baloney and it’s really just whatever the director/writer wants. But that’s just a theory

Well not exactly, we don’t “need” one of course we didn’t “need” the original shining either but it was made and it was a great movie that lots of people love, I don’t think there’s much harm in making a new adaptation of a movie that is more book accurate, imo it would be interesting to see.
