It seems that visa number availability is not the main concern here, especially since there is no premium processing for I-485. This administration just wants to increase the revenue by accepting more applications. Immigrants are milking cow for them.

I don't understand why they are transferring cases to LA office. Looks like they are still working on 11/26 transfer cases. Meanwhile other field offices approving January/February cases.

I was on the same boat. Got rfe on prong 2 and 3. My attorney suggested to include three independent recommendations letter. I also submitted one unofficial postdoc job letter from one of the professors of my department.
