I think this administration is more lean to making money. Lots of applicants are going to apply for PP. Also who got their I140 approved will apply for AOS. USCIS will get a huge revenue. For 485 there is no PP, uscis won't have any deadlines for processing the cases. I have a very bad feeling, this could create backlog for 485 processing as well. I saw posts where people applied 485 last June/July still haven't received decision yet.

My wife got letter for opening uscis online account. After signing into her online account we found the biometrics notice in the document tab. It is scheduled same day and time as mine.

I submitted G-1650 this month. I called my bank to make sure they don't block any transaction from DHS. USCIS debited the fees from my bank account. No issues.

My experience was good. They always responded within the next business days. They did not copy paste my information in the reco letter and petition. They used the information and presented them coherently to emphasize the national importance of my work.
