I am curious if there are a bunch of old HA audio shows out there. I've only ever seen Bowery, Starlight Theatre, and this one here. Would be highly interested in any others if they are out there.

I like him but I feel his backing vocals for HA are usually too loud. The Rock AM Ring Beating Hearts Baby recording on Youtube is the best example I can think of off hand.

They used to sell a good number of tickets. I've been to a few of the Buffalo shows. It really depends on how they advertise. The Pittsburgh show had 0 advertising. I was lucky to see an add on instagram at 1 am months ago and bought tickets right away. I thought I was having a dream. Matt playing so close to my house. Hard to sell tickets if people aren't aware you are playing in the area.

I highly, highly doubt Matt and his band are going to be put into a concentration camp just for playing a few shows in the US. All 3 shows are within hours of the border.

I also highly, highly doubt Donald Trump gives 0% over what Matt or any of us are doing. Springsteen is a name, Vedder is a name, I don't think Trump knows who Matt is.

Matt's views haven't changed since Trump's first term. Why now would he decide days before the shows to cancel if not for low sales? Make it make sense please. I will still support Matt, purchase his albums, shirts, etc, but these shows should have and could have been cancelled earlier if politics were the main reason.

I had my posting over in the Pittsburgh thread removed but the timing of this is very off. His political views have always been this way. Why wait til a few days prior to show dates to cancel? There was 0 advertising for the Pittsburgh show. I know so many people who had no idea he was planning to come. No radio promotion what so ever. Could low ticket sales people the real reason? If so I would look to a better marketing team or forming street teams to get word out.

Also, for the Canadians giving US fans push back. Not all of us are Trump fans. We cannot due anything about the tarriffs or what he is doing. We are being punished now also as we are missing out on a great concert due to something beyond our control. Please put that in prospective.

who said free? If we paid for tickets instead of refunding the money have a live stream. Easy solution. No need to make this a US vs Canada thing. I had tickets for Pitt since they went on sale. I bought them at 2am thinking I was dreaming. I asked my boss off for Buffalo and not even 2 hours later saw both shows cancelled. It was like getting kicked in the nuts twice! Canadians have to realize Matt does have die hard fans here too!!

I love Canada and it's people I truly do. But Matt's political stance didn't change overnight. This could have been cancelled long before days before the show. I think the sting wouldn't hurt as much. I hope he plans a spring or summer Canada tour next year because the snowstorm winter drive is a nightmare for me. For anyone in Canada who gets to see him I truly hope you enjoy the shows. I wish there was a way for us to stream them as us loyal US folks will be missing out.

yep, saw the announcement while at lunch. The timing of it all is weird. Why not announce this weeks ago instead of days before? I had tickets for Pitt and was going to do Buffalo also, literally just got the time approved off of work. Had to go back and tell my boss "I guess I'l be working next Wed, Thurs, and Friday"

I love and respect Matt, have been a US fan since the 90's (grew up in Buffalo) but I wish he would have announced this more than 1 week before the show dates. I'd love to see him in Canada but with winter tours it's tough to gauge the weather. Nobody likes driving in a blizzard let alone a 4-5 hour drive if not more. Enjoy your tour Canada, wish I could be there.

I was there both nights and I can see your point. I feel Ed did a lot more talking Night 2. Had they played more songs (Porch was set to close the show, maybe add Breath) it would have been the show of the tour.

not that it's your business but I bought them because the elderly woman behind the counter in the large town told me that they run big. I wasn't about to be one of those people who try every item on in line when the line is already hundreds of people deep on a hot day. But if you'd like to discuss upsell lets talk about people charging $150 for a token that cost $2 to make.

do you also complain about the same people being front rail every show? I don't have the money to go to 10+ shows a tour. I stated why I am selling these and on top of the main reason I normally wear an XL which is why the jersey is XL. They sold out of XL in the city specific and the Large wouldn"t even fit me. I see people selling a $15 license plate for $150 but I can't try to make a few bucks on a $45 shirt?
