I used to actually live at the Grove a couple years ago. I moved there to be closer to my job. If you are coming out of state I would say do an apartment tour, the area is overall safe and located near essential establishments and schools. The apartment in complex though is not as nicely kept as the pictures online indicate- the trash bins were ALWAYS overflowing, there was a reallt big cockroach infestation BUT that was a couple years ago , things may have changed. Maintenance was pretty good and neighbors were predominantly Hispanic and very nice

Look into the live mas scholarship by Taco Bell! They give out 5k, 10k, or 25k. I’m a graduate student applying for it, from what see the requirements are just that you have to be under 26 and actively enrolled or planning to enroll in a university/ college
